I like Hanamichi's new look more than his previous one. It looks like he came alive at the last seconds of the game, too bad he couldn't finish that dunk. |

| Not a bad movie, they did a decent job cramming that into 20 minutes considering the usual pace of games in the tv series. Was a nice side story and both teams gained some good insight and experience from the match - the private school learning that they need to work harder and not rely on talent alone and Shohoku regaining their confidence and teamwork. 7/10. |

| Refreshing movie. The effort put into the animation is too great, I love fluid animation. The opponents unfortunately weren't developed that much, but the American guy was still enjoyable to watch. And how would Sakuragi not make something stupid in the end, haha. |

| Good experience for Shohoku. Still, pissing off Mitsui like that. Just because these are former classmates. Glad Mitsui showed them who's the real deal. Lol this girl Eri Fujisawa getting pissed. Sakuragi Slam Dunk!! Timeover though XD 8/10 |
| decent movie, first time seeing buzz cut sakuragi in action. opening playing towards the end was fire but i wish they would've let his dunk count. 7/10. |
