| Yes and no. Knew the rules and owned a cardboard board and set of little platic stones and played mostly 13x13 games. After falling for Hikaru no Go, played more and got a bit stronger (best ever was 12k but now I'm more like 24k). These days I mostly solve tsmego. |

| Yeah, I started playing thanks to HnG. I just joined kgs a couple days ago actually and right now I'm at 17k, but I've won almost every game fairly easily, so I'm pretty sure I'm gonna keep climbing the ranks steadily. (for anyone who's interested, my kgs username is Bushido890.) |

| I went to a Go panel at Katsucon this year and learned the basics of the game. I didn't play a full game of Go, but rather something called "first capture". the Go instructor there said that First Capture is best if you are a beginner. I actually did really well with it, so the instructor said. I really wanna play more of it but I guess I'll have to wait until I go to another anime convention ^_^ |

| Fascinating game! I'm 3k (on KGS) and can't live a day without doing something Go-related. I've even managed to organize a Go club in my town, so it's even more like in Hikaru No Go. ^_^ |

| I always hated all this co-called "intellectual games" like chess, checkers or backgammon...utill I have have learnt about Go. My friend told me about this game, and I bekame interested. Then I have watched anime and was totally fascinated =) |

| I started reading Hikaru no Go while I was still collecting Shonen Jump. I first heard about Go from Hikaru no Go and when I found out there was a Go club at my school, I joined with a couple friends. ^^ |
