| I have been totally won over. Kakeru really is the spiritual successor (if not quite as awesome) to Kintaro Oe. I laughed so hard when he threw his jacket and started stripping. The way he handled the beating was icing on the cake. Competent pervs for the win! I'm still not sure about the whole "battle of the metals" thing, but I'm sure a cast like this (the female mains seem to have good chemistry going) should be able to pull it off. And the art is perfectly okay. After reading something like Ten, it's all relative. Better anime have had worse animation than this one. |

| I wasn't to impressed. There where some funny moments and the main char (I don't even bother to remember his name...) is a real pervert wich catched my interests a bit. When the girls in his class commented on him randomly taking of his clothes, that was kind of funny. Animation quality was really bad tho, but I think I will stick to this anime just to see how it will turn out. |

| The animation quality is really annoying me a lot in this anime ... I just feel like dropping the anime in the end (and this is the first time i considered dropping an anime due to its animation) ... I guess I'll give maybe 1~3 more episodes to decide if I want to drop it or not Hopefully Brains Base does better on Spice and Wolf Season 2 ... god hopefully that don't mess that up or I'll go crazy >.> |

| One of the worst episod i have ever watched. Its not poor animation quality; its simply mistakes of animators - mistakes that should never have place in airing anime. They spent all funds on first episod and have no money on second? Dunno what happend. |

| Still good after the first episode. Didn't expect a TRAGIC PAST all of a sudden, but then I also didn't expect all that QUALITY either. The art was full of fail, but the story is pretty good. |

| This is horrible.. Fukuyama Jun's first love comedy in awhile is awful. He is better off voicing those charismatic leaders instead. |

| The whole plot is just dumb, but it seems I can adapt to retardness because it still entertaining somehow. :) Still I can't score it too up. :) I hope they will not get thes tory too serious (with the fights and things) and just stick with light comedy (and more parody). I can't thought seriously about drama which is about juice cans which turned into living girls whom fight for the indecisive goverment who wants to recall the steel or aluminium cans and the winer and her still metalic little friends doesn't get smashed in by the goverment. o.o :) |

| I'm sticking with this show....if only 'cause of the lesson I learned with Kurogane No Linebarrel. If it looks crappy the first couple of episodes stick with it....'cause these production companies really do want to make money, so if they hear bad things they will make it better. |

| Okay... something's telling me to drop this. The Episode was horrible. Not really funny. Kakeru's "dramatic" past. Oh come on. That was rather ridiculous. Oh and not to forget the failing animation.  Oh my god Melon, were you involved in a car crash? |

It's like everything bad about Zero no Tsukaima (which is a good anime in its own respects) taken and made in to an anime. Oh, and they had the audacity to throw in a one piece reference... I think his behaviour is just an act, since almost everyone treats him as the bad guy, he can just as well give them the bad guy. Najimi is much more perverted and Yurika is an official bull dyke. And if stupidity and weird behaviour were contagious, the girls in his class need to be quarantined. |

| I picked up this show while browsing through Hulu's selection. I was in the mood for yet another example of Japanese weirdness, and it seems that I have found one. The concept is absurd, the protagonist is repulsive, and the people around him are rather strange. I'm not certain yet, but I think this series is most likely to turn out mildly successful but flawed (which would get a score of 6 from me). Given that it isn't highly rated, I will be surprised if I find it to be highly successful, and so far it isn't. The animation quality is substandard, and the protagonist, while entertaining in his repulsiveness, is a rather clumsily constructed character so far. I won't drop this series because morbid curiosity makes me want to see where this absurd concept will lead, and I have some faint hope that the show will eventually go off the rails completely and turn out to be a spectacular failure. If so, watching it will be time well spent. As for this episode, it seems typical of a series like this. Given the strangeness of the concept, it will need a few episodes to make everything clear. Having the soda can start attending school was not an unexpected move; placing her there will make it easy for funny things to happen, as in the freezer scene. I wonder when the first real fight will take place - can to can combat could be really funny if it is done right. |
