| That song played in the second half of this finale felt so cheesy... Oh well..can't be helped I guess? Pretty average series to me. For an idol theme series, they sure try to add in the drama. Happy ending I guess...with dearest friends. 5/10. |

| This show tried its best to play it safe, straying only a small ways from super safe. I genuinely enjoyed the group's diversity; and by that I don't just mean, "Oh look, a foreigner", I mean that this group is actually pretty mismatched once you think about it. Still, the girls managed to get along in the end. I especially liked how Tomo and Saya began to get along at least a little more. Sure, they weren't super buddy buddy, but they were able to function together. I feel like these characters developed at least a little bit, and that's always nice. This wasn't perfect, but overall it wasn't bad. The only things that really bothered me was Erika's boob touching (stttttoooooop) and how Tomo just kinda had things handed to her. I understand that she really is the voice that Yui was going for, but she was just so... unprofessional about a lot of things: late to auditions and getting retries? Other folks who really wanted the spot as leader just kinda giving it to her... Nope; as if that would go down. I guess they really wanted to advance the plot and not dwell of Tomo's failures. Some of the problems seemed to be solved so easily. Like, whoa Erika's brother is about to find out that he's adopted. Solution? Lol, he already knew. Yay, Lemon Angel Project's debut! Nothing can stop it now! So maybe there will be some type of internal problem. NOPE. Let's have Lemon Angel Project 1 return to create a problem. And then when that problem is solved, the antagonists just kinda shrug and say oh well. It's okay though. Some things were a bit cliche, but overall, I didn't mind. The show was still enjoyable! |

| Is it irony for an anime with 2D animated singers arguing the strength of human singers over a computer program? Also, I can only imagine what kind of holographic tech the show is using in-universe. Everything looks drawn, but if it were real life, the First Lemon Angels are supposed to be so realistic, no one could tell they were programs. So, the sight of the group's performance flying around the arena must have truly looked like magic. Regardless, the main characters' performance at the end had this classic feeling to it. Makes me want to watch some Macross or Gunbuster. Lastly, the real life recording vignettes were cute. |
