| i rlly like this anime but me and the friend im watching burst angel with agreed that this ep and the ep with the 2 brothers r like the worst episodes so far. i liked learning about takane but the main girls had barely any screen time (again). they spent waaaaay to much time trying to develop this basic ahh cop masa-yan and attempting to make the police captain look cool when rlly he looked soooo lame (like what was the point of wasting a scene on him coming to the station???) and then the worst part they tried to frame this masa-yan character like he’s some big hero and tried make us sympathetic with the monologue and the flashbacks when he was literally on his way to die for nothing since he should’ve seen his team on the ground with their rpgs and thought “oh they tried to beat this mech with all this heavy artillery and failed. my one rpg won’t do anything”. but no he decides to leave his daughter fatherless (maybe not its unclear if he survived or not in this ep) and then to rub salt in the wound he wanted takane to tell his daughter he was a “hero” when he was a deadbeat like take care of ur f**king daughter rather than dying for nothing. sorry for the rant this ep just kinda pissed me off lol. hoping in the next ep masa-yan dies or if he lives his wife divorces him ☠️, takane kills the generic evil cop, and that there will be another jo and meg yuri scene when they next meet up in this arc's finale 🙏 |
