| Goro looks kind of different to me throughout this episode. Those 'blah blah they suck' comments and then got all shocked when the Bats starts scoring from the Falcons annoys me. They did make it to the playoffs after all. I don't get why the Falcons would look down on their opponents so easily. It's like the better team are always conceited. I don't watch real baseball but the situation in this game didn't seem very convincing. Good pitching went to hell after one home run. Can't hit for two innings and come back with 5 runs. Maybe it's just because the same formula had been used. So it's like..uh okay, they came back again after one inspirational hit. >.> |

I can't help but agree with what you have said, the game and the player interactions aren't too realistic. But this is the anime that had teenage pitchers throwing gyroballs a couple season ago, so what do you expect. |

| i seriously thought the ball was going to hit him in the head when they showed gibsons reaction before showing where the ball hit.... also they should learn the rules... not sure about japan but in major and minors your hand is considered part of the bat so its not a dead ball but a foul... |

| It was so darn obvious this was going to happen, the whole atmosphere in the last 5 minutes was too uplifting and the middle was when they were really going.... so stereotypical xD I was thinking he was going to hurt either his leg or head.... hand is ok too I guess |

| Wow . . . So this time he gets struck in the hand? Is that pitcher an idiot? I guess he gave up on making it to the major leagues, cause any pitcher who would intentionally toss a dead ball at another pitcher's hand like that would NEVER be drafted onto any major league team. |

No, YOU need to learn the rules. What you said is only applied when the batter attempted to swing. In the case where he did not swing, and the ball hit the batter outside of the strike zone, and the umpire judge that the batter could not avoid the pitch, then it is a dead ball. I'll say it again, if the batter attempt to swing and got hit, then a strike will be called. And on rare cases when the umpire judge that the batter could've avoided the ball but made no attempt of it, then a pitch will be rules either a strike if its in the strike zone or a ball if its not in the strikezone. Goro got hit without attempting to swing, it is clearly a dead ball and first base award. The hand IS NOT part of the bat. "hand is part of the bat" is a common misconception but it is false. |

| Woah, what a coward pitcher... I don't know if Goro can really beat Gibson Jr with throw right in the middle... But he did seem a bit shocked that he got hit. In the end, that's not a good start. Even if Goro end up okay, they still lost a pitcher with that hit on his leg. |

| wtf that ending? another injury? until there were some good action going on and the season get back on track... the gibson junior and goro duel was probably the best duel in the whole series, it was freaking intense and awesome. i hope though that the face gibson junior made in the end was a for his favour though, it isn't like the anime to make a character too much hated. |
| Almost celebrated there when the ball Shigeno hit went for Gibson Jr's face only for it to be a homerun which is still good in its own. That end scene got me fuming as luckily he didn't get hit in the head but I can't bear to watch Goro dealing with an injury again. |
