| find the whole blade in arm thing, (forgot what its called) pointless? i never understood why its part of the story can any of you? is it to give him some sort of vulnerability? they didnt need to use that, they couldve used something like, i dont know, maybe he has this thing where he can make himself black out, but when he does this it causes him to really harm not just himself but other people. not only that but wasnt he like the only one too? and he had it surgically inserted. wouldnt it also make more sense if he was born with it? wouldnt that make us sympathies with him more? being part monster and can do nothing about it? your thoughts? |
| In this anime it was utterly useless because he didn't use it when he should have. Be it anime from 90's character who would not use would either die or use it under pressure to slash someone then would get crazy and after that he would come to term with it which would make sense. |

| Pretty much my thoughts exactly. The 'horn' aspect was so vague. I had to pause and google it because I didn't understand what relevance it had, and, I found it funny how many other people had asked the same questions about the stupid horn-thingy. Overall, I expected him to whip-it-out in every fight and kick some butt...but he didn't and he became a boxing bag in nearly every scene. Pathetic. |

| True, but i guess its more about regrets than about using it. That horn is used for assassinations by Hozuki family ( which is old family of assassins). He got that horn because he thought it will make him stronger but after a while he realized that he made a mistake. He wanted to become stronger by himself without help of weapons or such. I guess it was useless to him. |
