| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- As mentioned, Oni in this story are like creatures made by kotodama, they're the shape of the "unknown", embodying "fear" of the unknown, monster hiding in the darkness. Or comparing to another series, they work the same way as the Heroic Spirits in Fate series. You can kill this one, but humanity as collective will create another one as long as they still know what an "Oni" is. It's not the same individual, but still the same concept. So to kill them permanently, what's needed is not to kill the oni itself (which is useless), but to erase that concept, which is what Murasaki attempted by erasing the memory from humanity using energy generated by Nanagou. Although, Kyousuke and Touka survived because Akina and his friends still know both of them as individual. The surprising revelation is... Kyousuke is the Oni, while Touka had another concept hidden, the character human made to protect them from that fear. Momotaro ^^;;; BTW, excluding her crazy head, Iruka is really cute. Seeing the track record of previous youkai hunter (Zakuro, Lila, Rokkaku), likely she’ll join Akina’s group. My guess, she’ll pair up to Touka, much to Kyousuke’s annoyance. Besides, Kyou-chan already have the sexy fox deity who sent him naked pics. :D |

| Damn nice sword. What a chapter though. It feels almost if it's battle of the Gods. The battle also feels a bit of experimental. Kyousuke and his revelation is revealed too. Oh my goodness. |
