| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Are we supposed to like Elaine (or Laura as she's called here)? Her protecting Myra is something that would generally come off as likable but the revelation that Elaine killed Myra's daughter and how she blows up another city (for no reason at all this time) rather make her seem like a mindless, destructive beast. If it's just trying to be grim and nasty, why have her do the one likable thing at all? |
| I'm pretty confused about everything I've seen in this OVA so far... I mean I am somewhat enjoying it so I'm going to finish it but it all is kinda of confusing to me. and As for "Laura" I'm not sure whether she's good or bad or just a character who's lost her way and if we are supposed to feel bad for her or not... I guess I'll just keep watching and find out |
| Myra's breakdown in this episode was definitely one of the best I have seen. Even though it was somewhat predictable from the last episode, it was still quite a tragic realization (or psychically-induced dream rather) for Myra that her daughter Laura was actually killed by Elaine (Genocyber). |

| a lot of the replies on the last thread mentioned the english dub, I almost wish I'd watched that instead but been watching subbed, hopefully I remember to watch the dub if I ever decide to rewatch |
