Giving Dio the opportunity for absolute power. Nice judge of character there, prez. And oh, it's pretty heartwarming to see Jojo's dad acknowledging him. |

| Omg I weren’t expecting Jonathan’s dad to show up!! The whole scene with them crying, him regretting his actions and giving a speech of how proud he is was so emotional. It finally cemented Johnny as my favourite Joestar. |

| Let's just remember that this part has a lot of nods to part 1 (names, characters, their past and future, like the fate of Zeppeli family to die for Joestars). Does it mean that Diego will kill Johnny like Dio killed Johnatan?..... P.S. How the hell did Valentine put Diego and his horse inside the hole unnoticed? Where were they while Valentine was still alive? |

| Haha, Dio's "TOKI WO TOMARE!" appeared again and magically allows him to do way more things than you would expect to might happen in just 5 seconds, lol. I was thinking about Johnny's father even before the fight with Valentine, I mean when it was announced that Gyro and Johnny are two possible winners according to bids. I really wanted him to appear somewhere during the race and acknowledge Johnny... ... but it's to late if you ask me. I thought it back then and I think it now when he indeed appeared near the final stage. It's too late. He damaged Johnny's heart with his harsh words and didn't even visit his own son when he got crippled. |

| Wha! "The corpse cannot leave America!", so you, Dio(!!!), who in this universe, is an evil British man, become the controller! I don't get the President's thinking. There's nothing that has ever indicated that Dio would use any power for anything other than self-gratification. I guess the President just really doesn't want Johnny to have the corpse, and Dio is the only other capable person in the universe? The reasoning is a bit wonky and out of left field, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't enjoying it. Also, why is the prize money suddenly in Yen now, hah. And Johnny is totally standing up on that boat! He's standing there, hands free, reading a map! |
