What`s the deal with the cats?
They aren`t in the manga. (Someone who read it told me that)

I know all of that, I didn`t mean that I didn`t like them. I was just wondring if there was a reason to them? :P
Must be another reason to them than just cuteness, since they aren`t in the manga.

I think someone explained it to me when s1 was airing, but I can`t remember.

I don't know if there's a concrete reason for them, but I love them because they provide atmosphere.

kitties rawks.
if BRS can exaggerate teenager conflicts into action scenes, why can't KtB do the cute side?

I would say the cats represents the boys in some way :'3

This is just my opinion, but I think the cats are also there to emphasize the boys' easy-going and lazy natures. I do agree that they represent the 5 boys.

I was getting they were symbolism of the boys. They always popped into the scene when certain things happened to any of the boys. I don't think that a certain cat is a certain boy.
What if the Hokey Pokey is what it is all about?

To be honest, I always wondered the same thing. I believed it was just because the creators for the art or whatever liked cats. It's not really symbolism, it just seems like a side-scene that has no point. I also do not think they are cute, so yeah it seems really strange and stuff.

I believe it does represent their personalities of being laid back, and they do sometimes have the cats do what the characters are doing like if they are sleeping together the cats will be sleeping

I think sometimes they represent the 5 boys. Like in episode 1 of the 2nd season, it felt like that. The kittens sleeping together in several scenes just like the 5 boys. After each rock paper scissors for choosing who's going in the bathroom, they appear, too and somehow they act fitting the scenes. Dunno how to explain this better. But I guess it's kinda the reason for the cats appearing. I couldn't say why exactly they're doing this though.
And besides it's cute, I like it, cause I love cats <3
Mostly this. I kinda liked the cats because that (and yes, the cats are always awesome, too!).

Cats are awesome, best pets ever, they can't even compare to dogs ;> That's one of things why I love Kimi to Boku so much :)

It's a metaphor I guess representing how easy going, laid back and cute the boys are. In some scenes the cats will mimic, in their own way, what the boys are doing like facial expressions, movements, and situations.

You have no idea how many times I've asked myself this question.

Eventually I came to the conclusion that the cats must represent the boys in in some way throughout the show.
