Wow. I have a few things to say this chapter! Firstly, I'm mad I forgot to predict hobo hunters! In every fictional residentially-challenged camp I've seen there have been hobo hunters, punks with bats out for the homeless. These one's are just raiding them for money but they're still punks with bats abusing the homeless so it fits. Namely Gantz and Yakuza do this off the top of my head. I was even going to predict Kurosawa would have to fight them! How silly of me to forget to say all that.

This story is interesting. At chapter 70/90 of most manga I've read we'd be at some climax that was built up to for awhile. Stakes would be high! Everything would be coming together for one big final arc. Yet here Kurosawa shook off the attackers and got sad drunk and ended up crashing at a homeless park. Because he can relate with a poor guy he's willing to fight some punks for him. This far into the story. It's quite charming how we naturally got here and how it's not trying to be something massive. It's quite anticlimactic in the best way possible all things considered!

That suit is quite the powerful imagery. A suit embodying the hopes and dreams of a young man kept in pristine condition in the home of a residentially-challenged man who has sworn he threw all his hopes away. A suit that haunts him, that represents the days he went business to business hoping for a better tomorrow and success. It's also quite poetic for Kurosawa to see the man's embodied hopes and dreams trampled after having such good care taken of it and for that to make him decide to fight. For such a hopeless man Kurosawa has brought hope to many many people through showing them his fights.

But despite me speaking about how anticlimactic this arc is for where we are in the story, this was narratively written like Kurosawa was a badass shounen hero. He goes into a place, meets new friends, understands their hopes and dreams, sees a villain who laughs at them, and fights that villain brazenly to show them not to give up.. Kurosawa has become a hero after all that fighting he's done. I wonder if this sequence will be similar to Kurosawa's battle of Okehazama as in it being him showing off his ultra unique quick thinking talents to come out on top. There's no way this doesn't devolve into combat right? These punks aren't ones for diplomacy.

Two small things:
- Kurosawa thinking the punks were young homeless men was adorably sad. I was so upset he had such a nice misunderstanding regarding such awful people.
- It was awesome to see the residentially-challenged eat so happily together in such a beautiful location! And it's nice that Kurosawa has a man he can relate so closely with, Toku was so sad that he left and Kurosawa wants to fight for Toku's sake!

Edit: I think it implies Toku bought the suit with his winnings along with the drinks and I misread the implication. ~_~ At least I realized the punks came here looking for the money he spent on drinks and a suit...
