Kurosawa both impressed me and let me down this chapter. He showed some tact, he didn't rush in, he realized he had to make a plan and didn't go with the crude straight forward option. We've seen this in flashes throughout the series, the anthesis being the Nakane brawl but after that he made better plans to stall the Takashi bullies, to fight with poop, and to watch for attackers. So for him to calm down his warrior spirit, make a plan, rally the troops, get weapons and not go in with his 'iron fist', it was pretty cool. One cannot say Kurosawa doesn't learn!

But he also assumed mobilizing the troops would work. Like, Ono yeah would probably fight for Kurosawa, but everyone else is just scared of him and Ono's command, no way would they embrace death. Further, he thought tricking them to all for one was like the way to get an agreement going. There is no way anyone but Ono and Nakane would fight for you Kurosawa!! Gosh... It made me laugh really hard though, especially at Asai's fear. As if he's grasping at straws, 'you'll be promoted in the Kurosawa gang!!". A sad side effect of this though is it shows how little he is respected. I don't think the point that inspired Kurosawa to fight for Nakane was wrong, if you know someones true self and respect someone you can fight for them and you wouldn't be so opposed to helping them in a time of need like this.

But like I initially said, he's got to fight the 5 of them or something. And he's doing that! I wonder if Shizuka is one of the bosses.. It could be like not the five bosses after all too, it could be a few henchmen wanting to rise up the ranks but with talk about 'these guys are the ones organizing things' it makes me think there's a good chance it is them. Yet, Kurosawa is not thinking it through or he is thinking way further than I'm giving him credit for. For, the battle of Okehazama was war, they could kill, you can't kill some kids in a raid. So perhaps Kurosawa is intending to make them fear for their lives instead, a 'if you keep coming after me I will kill you' kind of thing.. Or maybe he has another idea of how to end this once and for all.

I loved the line 'this would be a tactical victory for me but a strategic victory for them'. He's so inspired he's become a general..
