It's easy to forget how low Kurosawa can get after that epic and long fight where he got into the fighting spirit, unable to doubt himself or regret his actions and then how we got a little of his overconfidence when he got out of that. Yet, we have to remember this isn't the first time we've seen Kurosawa at his Magical Closet. We saw him in the construction site bathroom countless times. Like it implied this has always been his home..

Anyways, Nakane was awesome this chapter. The way he dove in with those sunglasses on composed as ever and ordering Kurosawa to get out of the situation was seriously cool. We saw his composure in the fight with Kurosawa, it was immense until he cracked due to frustration so it's not a surprise to see it here. And, it seems no hard feelings. I wonder if he doesn't mind his aniki went pervert mode or if he thinks it must be a misunderstanding. The girls certainly took a disliking to Kurosawa after that, making me think they possibly were being friendly to him because he was Nakane's friend and they want to get good in with him. As always that could be overly cynical! Kurosawa was a weird old dude turned creepy old dude.

The plight of Kurosawa is to give up or to crash into his vices and do the only thing that makes him feel more pathetic than he already feels. I wish he could learn to appreciate the things he had, it's not amazing but he's made some companions at work, Nakane looks up to him, and he was invited to a pool resort full of rich fancy people and pretty women. If he didn't crash and think about the worst of things then he could have had an actually alright time.

It was good though, to see even flashbacks to him seeing his crush in high school taken away by another guy. The monologue he had made me think his virginity loss story was a lie. No man is this depraved unless he feels starved like his analogies showed. It seems rare he even runs into pretty women. Maybe he should take up full time fighting so he can always be in the moment and not lose himself in fears and doubts. If only he didn't forget his whole spiel about being reborn already. He's giving up to his vices and not giving his 100%.
