| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This was actually a pretty funny episode. The fox-man feeling sympathy for Philia and the dragon-judgement were funny. Surprisingly Lina was the least funniest this time. The drama with Philia and Zellos was a bit shallow. The backstory of the village was so short and it wasn't resolved ever. It was just used to give motivation for the villagers. Philia being so naive about dragons wasn't really brought up. Maybe later... |
| I am sure Fillia will provide endless amusement for Zellos throughout this series. It looks like he is up to his old tricks--saving the day by encouraging someone else to use their full power. |

| I actually don’t care for the Xellos x Filia gags that much. Xellos being a troll is pretty amusing, but Filia’s overreactions are meh. This outside world is pretty superstitious concerning magic. It’s a pretty interesting comparison to the country’s that were inside the barrier. It wouldn’t surprise me if some country in the barrier got the idea to start conquering all of the outside countries since they don’t have mages. Whatever happened to the pillar of light in the first episodes, btw? Everyone seems to have forgotten about it. |

| Filia wants Xellos. -_- Xellos nearly wiped out the dragon race singlehandly and she acts the way she does. I get it you don't have to like him, hate him it makes sense. She acts like a spoiled 6 year old. I never hated nor liked either dragons or monsters. But Filia is singlehandly making dragons seem despicable. Xellos out here making monsters look baller. |
