This isn't about argueing over why guns are beeter than other arment or wh a katana is better than a pistol. This is about what guns would be the best to carry if you chose to carry a gun. We are talking about specifics, not just shotgun and assualt rifles

Alright i'll start. i believe the perfect primary weapon is the Moosburg 500. They come in multiple gauges but i suggest 12 gauge.

It very esy to use and to learn on. 12 gauge shells vary widley in power and projectile. The saftey is very easily accesible. Ant they are highly modifielble. and yto top it off, they are cheap

Haha, in a zombie Apocalypse, you aren't going to need to pay for the guns, right? Anyway, a shotgun is definitely going to be needed, but the primary weapon is going to have to be a pistol of some sort. Its fast, easy to reload, easy to carry/handle, lightweight, abundance of ammo and whatnot. I'm not too familiar with specific models though :P.

I would think your primary/trusty weapon would need to be an accurate pistol with a pretty good clip capacity. The power doesn't need to be overwhelming, other guns can take care of that. I'd say low to moderate power that uses a common ammunition. It needs to be very reliable though. No jamming problems or overheating. What pistols would fall under that category? Anyone?

Mossburg 500 is your power punch here. Sounds like a good choice to me.

Sub-machine guns are going to be almost useless in my opinion. Low power, inaccurate, wastes ammo.

Of course, Military weaponry will be ideal as well. M16 is always going to be a good weapon to come across. Gives you the range to pick off necessary infected from a safe distance. Also can be used nicely in closer quarters and medium range. Still, I'm only using this in special situations. Pistol and shotgun for me. You can't carry everything. One person in your party should be carrying an M16 or something similar.

Can't go wrong with grenades either. Probably a good idea to have a few of them handy.

Of course, the AK-47 may be the toughest gun out there. You could submerge it in water, toss it in a fire, run over it with a vehicle and then store it in rotting zombie flesh for a month. She will still fire on all cylinders. If I'm using an assault rifle, it will probably be this one.

with handguns you tend to run into a problem. semiautos have a much larger ammo capacity than revolvers but a semi auto is more prone to jamming and malfunctions. which puts you in a pinch. more rounds or better reliability?

The best guns I would get is sniper guns as it help me distance myself from the undead and it can help you get head shots all the time if you can handle its weight and know its distance.
