| Rinne does stands out compared to the other mecha animes I've watch. I mean I've seen a lot male leads and there mostly serious, generic, emo or cliche types. So it's starting to get boring from there. So what delighted me about rinne is it has a female lead at the cast. Plus I like Madoka's her personality. She's energetic, cute, funny, not moe, and think out of the box. I don't mean Aquarion EVOL is bad, it has it's own charms that separates it from Rinne. Aquarion has great music, background visuals, and mechs, but Rinne has a likable main character. The main character is the strong point on the series that's why it appeals so much. |

| Almost done with the first season so I'll be checking it out sometime next week. Though from what I heard the characters are annoying and likeable characters are important to me :/. I hope it's as good as you say. |
| To me, EVOL >>> Rinne no Lagrange. Unfortunately, teenage girls as main characters just doesn't work for me. Madoka Magica didn't work. K-ON didn't work. I'm so bored I'm on the verge of dropping Rinne no Lagrange. EVOL works because the main cast are more varied. And the exaggerated sexual innuendos are hilarious to watch. A lot of people hate it because: 1- They hated the original series, which honestly sucked balls 2- They can't enjoy the exaggerated sexual innuendos and find them eyerolling bad From my own preferences and experience, Rinne is supposed to be a more solid series, albeit very dull. Evol is more entertaining and good eye candy with wonderful OST (Yoko Kanno). So far, Evol is actually much better than Macross Frontier. They really did it right this time. Rinne no Lagrange... I can't find anything in it that stands out... |

| Guys, guys. Reason is obvious: Lagrange is licenced and streamed on Hulu/Viz. Evol is only fansubbed by gg. That's why is has more people watching it. Of course Aquarion Evol is better, but Rinne is good and definitely best of this season "yurishit" series. |

| Today's episode should stop the debate damn cold once and for all. And don't call it "yurishit" -- this is the closest thing to shojo-ai with mechs (for I reserve the word "yuri" for the likes of Oniisama E and Utena). Damn, can't people stop taking things too seriously and just be entertained? |

| Never seen Aquarion before or its current ongoing sequel right now but I will say that I perfer this over that space opera pirates ongoing anime right now. ~just my 2 cents. |

| Watched nine episodes of Aquarion Evol now. Lol can't take that series seriously even though the plot appears more solid. Not saying it's bad =P. Though Rinne is shaping up now with the latest episode. Both are worth watching though. |
