| Getting into this after finishing Hunter x Hunter - 1999 about a week ago. Banger of an OP honestly. Mad House is a fantastic choice, you can already see the big changes. I like the vibrant colours and eye popping visuals compared to the original but I do wonder if that's going to affect some of the more serious scenes. New VA for Gon is fine, at least it's not Naruto x), I love Kurapika's VA, she's one of my favourites. Pacing definitely feels a bit faster but I wouldn't say it's a bad thing yet. Surprised we didn't get the Kite scene, maybe later? Overall very good impression, I can tell it's going to be fun to re-watch the first 4 arcs with all the changes. |

| Didn't expect Kurapika to be that unfriendly... but it's understandable. In the end he and Leorio were say sorry.. so all is nice and good. On the other hand, Gon is really adorable. The OP and ED are super catchy but I really like the ED. |
