This was a truly heartwarming episode. It was nice to see Remi and the animals get some respite after all their hardships. Also, I can't believe I didn't figure out the connection between Remi and Mrs Milligan earlier considering how similar to each other Remi and Arthur looked. Stupid, stupid.

YES. This was so rewarding to watch after the hardships they went through, it almost made the depressing episodes worthwile.
I'm really not sure what to think about the sudden development/spoilers by the narrator regarding Remi actually being the kidnapped son of Mrs. Milligan. That kinda came out of nowhere and feels kinda forced/cheesy, and the way it was spoiled doesn't make it any better. Well, I guess I'll have to see where this goes.
I'm worried about Vitalis health too since he didn't look all that good in the short scene we got to see of him this episode :/.
I probably regret this post by now.

Talk about a change of mood, it's quite refreshing really. But was the narrator spoiling the plot twist really important ? Pretty dumb move, but I'm still loving this series.

It would be good if we get to see Vitalis again in the future, that guy was greatness.

At least the suffering will tone down for Remi for the 2 months, but based on the opening, you know it won't end well. Before the boat, I thought it was maybe foreshadowing the death of Vitalis or less likely his foster mother, but it seems like Arthur will be the one to die. Though nothing is completely certain, just wild guess. It does look like Vitalis will get sick, which was already foreshadowed this episode.

I don't know how to feel about the narrator though. I liked the idea about ambiguity, but he just goes and not only tells us that they're related, but also tells us that they won't find out for a long time? I wouldn't call that a spoiler, it's just the narrator being savage and telling you that Remi found his real mother but won't know that for a long time. Maximum suffering for both Remi and viewer.

"Your sight, my delight. Will you marry me?"

Why Narrator, why would you tell us that Remi is her son.

Not only the narrator says they're mother and child, but he says they might wait 10 years to get to know that. WHAT the fuck

Finally a safe haven, finally some food and finally a happy dream! I was so moved I got teary-eyed. It was all so good to be true that I thought the lady's son would be mean to Remi, but he's a good kid, and his younger brother!

It turned out Mrs. Milligan is actually Remi's mother! And he wasn't abandoned, he was kidnapped. Now I feel a bit silly for thinking that Remi was Vitalis' son. But I'm so glad, I hope this good time lasts enough for them to have a connection that will make it easier for the truth to come out.

Wasn't bothered by the narrator "spoiling" they're mother and son, for 2 reasons:

i) Because the audience could already deduce that when Mrs Milligan said Remi was the same age of her son and then one of her assistants said that son had been kidnapped and they never knew of him ever again. When you remember that Remi was found abandoned in a street, well the conclusion was pretty straightforward. Why introducing a lost son of Mrs. Milligan if that was not going to be the case then?

ii) Because revealing this fact towards the end for a final twist would have been so typical. Things get more interesting for the audience by seeing how both mother and son are now going to develop their relationship not knowing the truth about each other...

Lol at people saying the show "spoiled" the show for you. Such silliness.

The tears, man. This episode got me right in the feels. The lady's kindness really pushed me to tears. Even her saying "Don't feel that way. We're the one's who forced you to stay" got an extra tear from me. She's such a purehearted woman, and she really made this episode something special. I'm afraid to be spoiled by the next episode preview, so I'll post this before that starts. That end of episode moment... it really does throw enough doubt into everything to make guessing when they'll all know the truth about eachother, Vitalis (His real name), Milligan, and Remi, impossible.
