He only stopped because she slashed him with the youkai blade, and then healed him. And he has specifically been asking her to be his "woman", not his wife. That way he can keep other girls like Setsura as his lovers... <g> |
| 1. He did not intend to rape her, just play around. Nurarihyon is a huge, daring flirt, but not a rapist. His intention was just to play around and mysteriously stand up and leave. Thats simply Nurarihyon's style: daring and flirtatious but kind and loving 2. Actually, he did mean Wife. "Lets become man and wife", "Lets marry", etc. means the same. And the Youkai wouldn't go into such an uproar if he just meant a lover 3. This is not Christian Europe. A Japanese Clan-leader was allowed to have concubines alongside a legal wife so marriage doesn't force him to have one woman 4. Like Weekly Shounen Jump would ever let him be a rapist ^_^; |

| Yuck, the greedy father pummeled into a bloody pulp by fists full of gold. Great episode. So far the second season is 3x3 times better than the first. The action and romance is so engaging that I don't even miss Shima-kun. |
