| I finished the series, and looked everywhere, but I still cannot figure out what the title, "IO," is an acronym for. My guess is that the "O" stands for "Okinawa," which is the main setting for the story. Do you have any ideas? |

I googled the katakana characters イオ from the front cover and that was the first result. Makes sense with the mysterious nature of the story. Yeah, that's probably the best bet.
