This episode was quite creepy until the music starts (which scared the crap out of me - headphones xD). Though it's an interesting way to look at Chirico's past (storytelling wise).

The end of the Kummen arc was a little disappointing, but this episode was quite good; a lot of mysterious things going on. My take is that Chirico (Fyana seems irrelevant at this point) was thrown into that ship in order to revive his Red Shoulder instincts. The question is: why and by who?
I also found it very amusing that Chirico goes from coughing after one sip of wine to just drinking a whole bottle of (I assume) whiskey in one go. xD

I don't think the romance in this series is very well done, but having Chirico unable to emotionally deal with Fyana because of his war experiences is pretty interesting.

That was a strange episode. You get the feeling that they quite were'nt too comfortable with the romance between Chirico and Fyana and decided to put his Red Shoulder past into play.

Yeah. It feels like that they thought that the pursuit of the relationship was more interesting than them being in a relationship (even though they've got the "Us against the Galaxy" thing going on), so they decided to throw this in there to shake things up.

Either that, or this mini-arc is going to turn out to be filler, which would kinda suck.

This ship is quite mysterious, and we still have no idea where it's heading. Whoever planned this, they won't let Chirico forget his past. He really doesn't know anything outside combat, and whether he ever will remains to be seen.
