| Indeed, if they were to insert a recap, this was the perfect spot. Although I think this was unnecessary, the events on the first arc might be relevant for the next arc, in which case this recap episode is a good way to refresh our memories. |
| Mostly combat-oriented recap last time, this one was mostly focused on how the Melkians 'watched & reacted' to what Chirico did. |

| So I've noticed a common amount of episodes for 80s shows is 50, so are the extra 4 episodes Votoms has just gonna end up being recaps?. |

| I can appreciate a good recap. This one could have been framed as a discussion between Chirico and Fyanna on their trip into space. They've got a lot of time to kill, it would naturally lead to talking about their past. A tranquil moment of bonding for the two of them, in an otherwise action packed series. It could have been framed as an operation debriefing between Rochina and his men in the wake of the strike on Kummel. The last 14 episodes of the show aren't even touched on. This is just clips from the first 13 episodes with sparse voiceover. Don't watch it. |

| Again a recap about only the first city and not too long after the first one. Even worse, it contained things that were even before what the first recap had shown. They could have at least have it recap the Kummel arc. It would still have been meh but not as bad |
