| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Some alien! Reminds me of Ed from cowboy bebop. So far i like the flow of the animation. I felt the characters had a great introduction to this series which i hope won't be disappointing in the upcoming episodes. |

| Weird OP song lol The OP song is okay I guess. Unfortunately, I can't find the original Japanese version right now so have to deal with dubs so some of the voices sounds odd to me. Overall not bad.. Loved the slice of life feeling combined with elements of sci fi |

| I remember watching this like a decade ago but I never got to see it regularly since it aired really late at night. I'm finally going to see it in its entirety :D! Niea bit the poor cat hahaha. And that was a big bite too. Well she won't starve anymore now that she has met Chiaki. |

| I felt that the two lead voices were highly recognizable and familiar. True enough, turns out the voice actresses also voiced some of my favorite characters. I am liking the main protagonist already, the artwork and character design is captivating. I first stumbled upon Abe's works from Lain and I fancy his art style ever since. I also like the mood and pace from this episode even though admittedly some of the joke and humor did not really get into me. I am aware that this is still very early in the show and therefore my opinion is still subject to change over the course of the series, but overall it was interesting first episode also good for introducing the characters. I am eager to see the direction of this anime headed for by flavoring slice of life with element of sci-fi albeit it is seemingly not really that prominent. And I know, I know, that ending song was also very lovely and heartwarming. |

| The comedy was kinda bad except for the UFO part. I could enjoy the anime if the comedy improves next time. |
