He looks way younger but you never know with 20 Faces. Doesn't seem impossible. Chiko looked great in her school outfits. That robot at the end sure was weird though. Looking forward to more. :D |

| Very good episode. I still don't know if the detective is 20 faces or not but it's at 50/50 right now. Dunno if it is but....it just seems like he is 20 faces. I wonder who that woman is and why is it a robot..looking...thing appeared in the last minutes of the episode. |

| This episode restores the hopes for good series after all. It will be mission impossible for scenario writers to reliably explain the previous episode intrugue though. |

| Good episode. I also thought the detective was probably 20 faces. I thought that red haired chick from the ED was gonna try to beat Chiko up, which would have been hilarious since Chiko is pretty much a ninja. |

| Been waiting for this all week! Actually, the past 2 weeks. XD Chiko looks more lovely than ever. It made smile seeing her happy. <3 Weird to see sailor fuku and engrish in this anime, haha. I'm still intrigued with the Girls Detective idea, especially now seeing Tome as the new house maid. And also the girl at school. Now that future characters finally shown their faces, I only can hype and wait for new eps every week. <edit> Actually, Tome appeared in episode 3 but I guess I wasn't really paying attention until she is reintroduced here. So yeah... just came back to this post to say that. XD |

| Liked the episode. It seems it's going to be totally different from what we've seen before with Chiko going to school now and taking on the detective role. Also that detective guy. You would almost thought he was 20-faces himself. I don't think he is after that last conversation with Chiko. I can't think of something else than him being an acquaintance of him since he got access to the ruby that was stolen at the beginning of the series. Anyways.. I can't wait to see how this will continue. |

| Good intermission between arcs (pre/post tragedy). Been good series from the start. Mecha thing from the last few minutes was interesting. |

| Why did they have to introduce a freiken robot/mecha. I have a feeling this series is just gonna get more and more unrealistic. The new girl is also being introduced in an overdone way, but whatever. And i know this sounds like im just hating, but no, i liked the episode overall. Apart from the freiken robot, gtf out of my anime. Can't wait for next episode~ |

| I made a double-take when the robot showed up as well, but it's alright. It's already over the top, albeit in other ways. "Realism" was thrown out a long time ago. If it wasn't apparent before, it is now. The show pays a ton of homage to old pulp fiction. Dick Tracy, The Shadow, etc. I was just wondering what the art during the OP had to do with the show, but now it's becoming clear. She's really going to found her own detective agency. *glee* |

| Good episode, a bit unusual at times (why the heck does Chiko eat her soup when she KNOWS that it's poisonned ? what is this strange robot at the end of the episode ? who is this detective, a relative of 20 faces ? etc...) but still good. |

| This episode was kind of boring, considering last episode. That being said, the premise shows a lot of promise, especially if one looks at the awesomeness of the OP. I can't wait to see what Nijuu Mensou's plans are. |

| Great episode! Loved it from A-Y (I didn't like the robot thing; though there were other unrealistic things, before, the robot is way too over the top; it really hurt the nice feeling of this show). Chiko is such a great character. <3 The maid is not as annoying as I thought she would be. She actually made a pretty good impression, too. Only the 3rd girl failed, yet. ^^ Dodging that ball was so cool. :D I also thought that that guy could be 20 :-) because he showed a reaction after she said that phrase with the "thinking". But maybe he really is just a relative or friend. Did they sound similar? |

| The man in the A/T Suit.... A bad guy, or he would have killed the bank employee. He's in the suit because his body was ruined? Possibly? And the tragic shared look between the two in the final frame. A mystery! Love it! How is Chico going to out manuvere her dear misses soup? |

It's why she was so painfully stoic. About the detective, we also saw him once. Third episode, fourth? I don't quite remember. So, it's unlikely that he's anyone but who he says he is. The robotic addition kind of threw me for a moment, but I adjusted pretty quickly. I'm not sure it's a robot or cyborg any more than it is a hulking man in a robotic suit, though. Hey, given that it's a show where a man has walked on air and disappeared in a burst of flames without any explanation, how far off is such a thing, really? All in all, it's a transition episode, which I've never liked, but as far as transition episodes go, this one was excellent. Hardly means I liked it as an overall episode, but I judge transition episodes separately, since I just don't like them as a whole. In closing, I'm still holding out for Twenty Faces being dead, because it just makes for a more interesting story. |

I mean, the one who took Twenty-Faces and Chiko in when Twenty-Faces was badly injured and got awesomely outwitted by Chiko who took out the bullets and all... :) Also, I tend to agree with NorthHawk in thinking that it might be a hulking man in a robotic suit (like some sort of robotic scaphander) rather than a robot/cyborg... It would totally fit in with the style of the show which incorporates elements of steampunk, after all. And I'm a bit surprised to read all the complaints about this "robot" guy being too irrealistic - remember, guys, that this is a show that started off with a thief tearing of the roof of a house and walking on air we're talking about... 0_o All in all, great episode. Smiling Chiko was painfully cute, and it was nice to meet (or get further acquainted with) all these (semi-)new characters. This is such a solid show, I'm really glad I picked it up! |

| A good episode, the Aunt is so stupid for trying the same trick twice, though Chiko did eat it the first time... Plus, that soup looked pretty disgusting to begin with :P The robot at the end was pretty stupid, but I'm still curious to learn more about it. |

| I didn't like this episode much.. the first half was too realistic for my tastes.. all the emo stuff about Nijuu Mensous death. Then the repetition of the poisoned soup. Ending was just as bleh, as in.. too unrealistic or something.. with the robot cyborg mecha something stealing that stuff there. I don't want any robots or mechas in my animu, thanks. The best thing by far was the school stuff, followed by the mysterious detective! But unfortunately, both of the scenes were pretty short : ( |

| I thought it was a great episode, though I was a bit surprised when that robot just . popped out of nowhere, I never would have expected a robot in this series. Anyway I liked the school scenes very much even if Chiko sounded like Microsoft Anna when she was reading aloud in class lol |

| Hehe, I liked the part when Mika and (insertnameherebecauseIforgotit) were talking about blondy staying up late and Chiko's flashback. Luckily I'm not the only one who thinks that Adechi is simply not who he really is... Tome seems more like Chiko's mom than the woman with the long hair. Ofcourse, this sounds weird, but that's just me. Oh, that mecha thingy made me think about FMA or so xD Same studio, human in mecha suite, got the clue? That's just me =P It was weird. First it had mecha eyes, later on human eyes. (InsertbadCGpuninhere) Liked the episode, but I'm more looking forward to the next ones. Still, this is one heck of a brilliant anime =) |

Was it not clear that her parents were dead? We've seen pictures of them, and Chiko even had a nightmare about seeing them die again while she was nursing 20 faces back to health in episode 2 or 3. I've seen people try and speculate that character X, Y and Z 'must' be her real parents. Her real parents are dead. I can only assume that some people just weren't paying attention. |
| Matsuoka Yoshitsugu has hardly any range as a voice actor, and is grossly over-cast. Yeah. I said it. |
