Tomioka did not disappoint! (Well Mimiroru did, the reason why Hikari did not follow suit to Masara town with Satoshi is that Mimi was scouted as a model.) | Yes this was a bittersweet goodbye. I don't know, I was expecting a little more from this episode. Perhaps I was just too caught up in the whole Piplup crying for the majority of this episode to focus on the big stuff. On another note, awesome we got to see Delibird for the first time since AG. New stuff for Jessie, James, and Meowth perhaps? Well onto B/W. |

| Awwwww T_T what a sweet sad goodbye ending this was. Even though I just looked at the recent episode photos, I began crying so much infront my PC to see they leave Dawn behind, one of my favorite characters TT. And the part when Dawn and Piplup hug eachother at the end was Sooooo Cute !!! ^w^ Emotioned me so much I had to use it as my avatar. I just wished that Dawn and Ash could give more like a goodbye hug, or a more romantic scene.( Big Pearlshipping fan here ^^). But still it were a nice pretty emotionall ending for a wonderful pokemon series and wish to really watch it when it comes to us (owww I wish I were in Japan T_T ). I hope that Dawn will sometimes shows up in the new series, just like May did ^w^. |

| Saddest anime episode I've ever seen... I cried for 30 minutes, starting from the moment when Piplup begins to cry, up to 20 minutes after the episode ended. DP was really much for me and this episode is a masterpiece... it's all perfectly built. The final scene was awesome. Ash is going away but Dawn wants the final High Touch... and some moments later, when she's going to cry for his departure, he calls her name saying "Daijoubu!", her own catchphrase, that she used in every episode, cheering her up even from distance. I miss DP everyday... |

| So far, Diamond & Pearl is my favorite Pokemon anime. |
| An ending to a lot of things, the end of 4kids music, the end of formerly recurring characters like Butch, Cassidy, Charles Goodshow, and every Sinnoh rival, the end of Brock being Ash's male traveling companion, the end of contests being featured in the series, the last episode where we see Jessie and James' Sinnoh Pokemon, the last episode with Dawn as a main character, and of course, the last episode of Diamond and Pearl. The episode itself was a great ending to the series, I'm sure others felt like Piplup this episode, and it was handled very well, farewell Sinnoh, onto Black and White, hooray? Yeah I'm gonna skip like half of Black and White cause it sucks lol |
| That was a really good last episode, in my opinion D&P was way better paced than Advanced Generation. Looking forward to BW next!!! |

| This season felt pretty much the same to me as AG felt, pretty consistent across the board with some decent episodes. Dawn as a new companion worked quite well, she had her own path to follow the same Ash did, still not the biggest fan of the contest stuff but it definitely had it's charm. Brock finally leaving after ~660 episodes is sad but he's had a fantastic run, a great addition to the Pokemon franchise in my opinion. The most memorable episodes this series for me were; Episode 43 - Loved the setting of how everyone was in their own dream world, some genuine funny moments. Episode 142 - Evil Togepi, what more can I say :D Episode 186 / 187 and 188 - Finally the clash between Paul and Ash we'd been waiting for, what an epic battle and some great out of the box moves used by Ash. And lastly these were the coolest Pokemon Ash has used during a series to me at least, not to mention the story of Chimchar and how it evolved throughout the series. Always a fun time seeing them battle, massive fan of Buizel. Oh and ofcourse who can forget Croagunk and Piplup! 7/10 |
