| This show continues to catch my interest, we get a look into Revvy's past well little bit and we get a cool dogfight at the end. Not much action but great for character development all the same. Honestly the Oxygen part doesn't matter to me at the end of the day because it's anime. Again great episode from this show altogether. |

| I'm not sure how I feel about Rock having empathy for actual WWII German soldiers when Revy was collecting medals from the bodies but it might've just been meant to highlight Rock's general aversion to the crime lifestyle -- or at least I hope that's all it was |

| Watching this for a second time 15 years later, I am pretty confident in proclaiming this to be one of the greatest anime episodes of all time. It hit me hard the first time I watched it, hard enough that I remembered it for over a decade. This time, I remembered how it went, and just watched it to confirm that my memories were correct. I remembered the high point of the confrontation between Rock and Revy, but I didn't remember how well it was set up and followed through both in this episode and the last one. Everything around that scene was a set up towards the central question of why we value anything other than life and power, but it was still subtle enough to be jarring when the question was actually laid bare. The follow-through had lots of implications as well. The forum makes me sad, as usual. |

| The duality between R & R is life itself. And their personalized smileys on Benny's pc, sublime shit 🤣 @Seabury my feelings exactly. This episode, together with the previous one, is severely underrated. Not enough action, c'mon just shoot the nazis and steal, too boring, stupid Rock, boo-hoo~ |
