That was much better then the actual series itself.
Very well put together.
Unlike the first two movies which had horrible horrible pacing.

Overall decent for people who want to go through the series a little faster, but if you want a full understanding i recommend just sticking with the series as the movies can get a bit confusing since they cut a lot out,the third movie wasnt too bad with that though.

There's nothing much new on this SE...

The only new scenes that I noticed are:

1. Kira and Flay's sex scene is shown more explicitly. Although I don't know if this is also shown on remastered version since I haven't watch it yet.
2. Cagalli showing her nice ass on a shower scene during Kira and Cagalli visited Commander Andrew for the first time. Not sure if remastered version has this too.
3. Short discussion between Kira and Lacus when they're in the infirmary(?). Particularly about how Lacus is happy when she's with Kira. Although I'm not sure if the dialogue is the same on the original since I watched the SE dubbed. Once again, not sure about the remastered version.

I like GSD SE more because there are more nice additions.

EDIT:

Okay so those 3 that I mentioned are on the remastered version thank goodness.

I only watched this because I want to finish Destiny which I put on hold since 2019. Captures the best moments in the series.

Final arc, infighting in ZAFT. I enjoy hearing the three antagonists speaking their different motivations, Zala's Anti-Natural ideology rooted in revenge, Murata's rooted in envy (fuck him for attempting to nuke the civilian colonies and all but I felt the Dominion could've teamed up with the Archangel to nuke the Genesis if Natarle hadn't led that mutiny), and finally Rau playing them off against each other (yes Flay, what he gave you technically would end the war) out of his hate of humanity in general.
And that's my first time watching the SE, maybe I'll try the epilogue before moving onto SEED Destiny just for completionism's sake.
My only complaint with this experience is the weird western Blu-ray release where it was letterboxed. Is this how it was shown on TV?
