| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- What did everyone think. Same old GeGeGe, same cast and feel, I'd say, but I love yokai and I loved every previous series. The Animation looked pretty good, it'll be fun, a classic old school style show. |

| Well, I've never seen any of the other GeGeGe series, but I liked the first ep of this one. Actually, I can't understand how there was not one fansub group out there willing to do the series for a whole year (except for that one group that only did ep 1). I mean, is it just THAT unpopular because of its old school style? :/ |

If it isn't of the newer style, there always seems to be less interest. |

| I'm confused.. I went to the ANN page of this anime (Kitaro 5), but it's only has 26 episodes.. Is this 101 episodes came from the 4th Kitaro as well? But the 4th one has 104 episodes.. :/ I've been updating my list on this Kitaro for the 4th one though, because I can't found it anywhere here.. |

| I'm glad I skipped the 90s version. I'll probably come back to it later but I already like this one. Just one episode in and I've already seen 3 otter yokai in the background and this series has a cuter otter yokai design than the previous versions. I wonder what the new series will be like that'll be coming out this spring. |
