Anyone else (who has finished this series) think that it was all too little too fast!
I think it was a great plot, including the policewoman as such, but three episodes was not enough and without a decent series ending it was not enough....

I really liked this anime, but we could have had a good 13 episodes with loads of story development and many fights, (since one billion is 15 fights total).
We did not get development on their backgrounds as much, the reason they need the money, or if they actually made it!
Thus is why i think they could have done all that in 13 episodes, with a good ending and a future reference!

Anyhow, deserves 8/10 but gave it 7/10 due to all the missing info...
I was hoping for more, or at least i am hoping for a sequel, since with the ending, they have not reached their destination yet :P

P.S. off to read the manga now and see if that finishes...

Haha! Yeah, it's too short for a 3episode series. XD If it is an OVA, it can be acceptible.

Well, I haven't yet watched this show; but there are shows like this that promotes the manga. Just like the Rosario + Vampire.

I really don't get why people factor the amount of episodes in when they score their anime. It is what it is, that's the size for the series, so you have to accept that and get into a proper mindset for what to expect in such a short series.

That said, the anime was great, nothing felt rushed to me, I liked the characters and enjoyed everything that was accomplished within the 3 eps.

The problem is nothing really was accomplished in 3 episodes!
Are you happy with all the mysteries that were left! All three of the boy's backgrounds and also they did not even finish the game!

If all that were solved in 3 episodes, i would be ok, but we saw a half hearted anime!

I thought this one was pretty...not good. And I don't think it would get better if it was made longer. It is possible to tell a complete story in 3 eps (or less!), but Bus Gamer couldn't pull it off.

The show was good but why was it only 3 episodes, and on tv, we got TV animation and OVA squeezing it wasn't really fair.

I want to see a full 24 episode series with a beginning, a middle, and velieve it or not, an end.

i really hope that everyone knows that this is pretty much guaranteed be continued and most likely after that remade because the manga is actually on hold. the manga will continue and then the anime will continue and then everyone will realize how great this could be, but even in the 0.0001% chance that it doesn't finish and it just ends there this isn't the worst ending ever, sometimes it's better to have a little mystery in the end because you think about it more. this will probably be exactly like zombie loan except more people went crazy when it stopped early and they gave a restart date like a month afterwards

As i recall the series is short because the manga is stalled. I think the mangaka is on haitus.

I haven't the slightest fucking clue why this outstanding anime has an average rating of 6.72.

No, it didn't have a closure. Yes, it was more like a really cool, extended preview than anything.

However, the plot, characters, and scenario were so damn good, with large doses of both action and comedy, that I can't see anyone rating this below a 7.

The limited amount of story is what makes it an 8 for me instead of a 9 or a 10.

In fact, that's exactly what it is. Bus Gamer as we know it is simply the prologue of the longer Bus Gamer story. Minekura-sama (the manga-ka) is beginning the proper Bus Gamer story as we speak, since she loves the characters so much. It would be cool if the anime followed suit, since FOR ONCE the anime version did not totally ruin Minekura's art (unlike Saiyuki *shudders*)

I loved Bus Gamer for what it was. Short, but sweet. And fun ^^

I was expecting a good intrigue even for only 3 episodes but I got some kind of dull fighting and undevelopped characters. The idea was original, but the anime: not only was it too short, but it was sometimes funny (when it shouldn't be).

But if there is a sequel, there's no doubt i'll watch it. =)

Huh? The comedy is PRECISELY what makes "Bus Gamer" so good. As a dark, serious story, it would absolutely suck, but as a funny, enjoyable action series, it's perfect.

But this series was pretty good. I wish there were more episodes...

Maybe they didn't shoot energy blasts at each other or do whirlwind kicks, but I thought the battles were awesome. The series is pretty realistic, which I really like. Every attack is extremely dangerous, they don't just stand around trading blows and then unleash some miraculous finishing move like in your generic battle anime. But if you prefer flashy things over realistic things, I guess this isn't for you.

It's too bad the magazine Bus Gamer was published in went under. I hope this actually gets continued someday.

Yeah, pretty much that. But then again, I'm not sure if I would have enjoyed it anyway.

I know the manga was published back in 1999-2001, but if this anime would have been in 4:3 format, I would have thought it was straight from the 90s. It was so dated that it hurt and to think that it was made in 2008 makes me even more sick. Watching it in 2013 won't make the situation any better.

First thought watching this Saiyuki because the character remind me of them. Obviously the red hair dude. Oh geez... it's from the same mangaka. lol.
The anime itself was really good and like many others it was wasted potential. It could be better but with only one volume there's nothing to go on with. So we got 3 ep. only. Still very good OVA imo.
Also it keep giving the yaoi innuendo. ''sigh..''

I really don't get why they didn't do an anime original ending. What we got couldn't be called an ending in any way, shape, or form. That really pissed me off :<.
