This amount of action and graphic violence feels very out of character for Aka, at least in his mainstream period. But at least it has some meaning or idea now, rather than just feeling like a bunch of random shock value/edgy gothic scenes. For now, I like what it seems to want to be, but the slow pace slows down the story too much despite the intriguing plot and great art. Or is this a result of Aka collaborating with his supervisor to avoid the rushed problems like in his previous manga?

I mean, i'm glad that our girl had survived, but she's really going through hell all for the sole reason of wanting to have a trip for once in her life outside her household, then she gets all of this stuff thrown at her face, from weird monsters, to weird friends, to weird perverts. At least the weird friend didn't turn out to be the bad guy we thought he was? Although, i still do not understand anything about him.

So far though, we at least know for a fact, that he did not mean to harm Rapunzel at all. I think what he did on the first chapter's cliffhanger was actually unintentional, like, he probably actually saw those monsters as human beings, in a literal sense, which is why he scared Rapunzel off, but i don't think he meant to trick her or anything, based on how far he's going to save her from those creeps.

I'm really glad he got most of the knights' heads off, although i'm so disappointed the perverted prince's head wasn't amongst them. Wanted for him to get any type of punishment, or at least a hard beating, after what he did to Rapunzel on the previous chapter, but oh well, at least he got his knights beheaded and his favorite bodyguard's arm sliced off, so hey, i ain't complaining.

I reckon Mikel is finally taking Rapunzel back home, after everything she's gone through. Now, only 5 questions remain unanswered. Where is Madam Witch? What exactly is Mikel? How did he survive what happened to him a few chapters earlier? Who were the perverted prince's gang? And last but not least, what are those monsters that are literally everywhere? Hope we get any answers, explanations, or at least hints, in regards to these 5 questions. Till then, imma stick around till i get all my questions answered!

@Skuvan I get the impression that Mikel is just as sheltered as Rapunzel. He's spent his whole life with these monsters, and so he lacks the frame of reference to understand that there's anything weird about his upbringing. Even when the knight was killing his "family" Mikel was genuinely just confused why they were being attacked.

Yeah, exactly!! That actually makes a lot of sense, but the weird thing is, how did he manage to do that? Like, i understand him being with em all his life, but they're monsters, how did they not eat him or something all those years ago?

@Skuvan I think the "monsters" just aren't malicious at all. They look scary but they don't actually hurt people. The knights are just going on genocidal witch hunts because they're different.

@BruhFunny69 Yeah, i second that. They've never hurt anyone so far, the only one who seems to have actually done it was Mikel, but that was out of adoration towards Rapunzel & his instincts ordering him to protect her, no matter what. So yeah, all what you says makes sense so far, but the thing is, that is up till now, we still don't really know how this is going since we don't understand much so far. But the knights going on genocidal hunts just cuz the monsters ain't human, is definitely a fact. In all honesty, i'm starting to lean towards the knights being the actual monsters with their demon king being the perverted prince with his now-one-armed bodyguard as his familiar, while the monsters are actually just the victims of these genocidal hunts.

@BruhFunny69 i don't want them to do that. Takes away the surprise element.

@mshfqtny If I understand the rules correctly, tags that contain spoiler information and do not relate to general information about the title are not included. So Utena was never positioned as yuri during the broadcasting, but everyone knows it's yuri, so it's tagged as such everywhere.
