It's back but we got the fight and confrontation between Usui and Kiyoka. Seems they're not wasting much time with chatter and just getting right into the action between the two.

Usui truly is a dirty bastard in this show..trying to damage Kiyoka mentally too. Miyo truly wanted to save him after everything he's done for her. This episode showed her loyalty.

Just because Arata was standing there holding a gun, almost in a meme worthy pose, Miyo still should’ve tried something, right? I mean would’ve saved Kiyoka from those few minutes of mind bending torture, if anything. Btw, I’m just glad she actually went and did something, as you see, if we were still in the earlier part of this series, Miyo should’ve just chosen to cry. Though she still did that in her attempt to make Usui a “better” person… which failed spectacularly, but yeah, that was the only part where things still looked a bit sane (++ for the bitch slap)

I mean hey, Sumi coming out nowhere, lecturing Usui over how it’s about time to turn over a new leaf, and all that stuff which will be insulted mercilessly if this were a battle shounen or whatever, I’m just feeling good that at least Miyo tried to question all of this, in the midst of everything… as it should’ve been, BY EVERYONE. Really, the episode was all over the place for me. Usui is gone… Arata is almost gone, except he still needs to explain just what was he trying to do with all of this “tURnInG tO tRAiTor” stuff. Seriously, that guy eventually killed Usui lmaooo.

Felt like they were in a serious hurry just so those two can have their "happy marriage"... FINALLY, next episode.

Netflix fudged up the release of yet another show, sigh. please support the official release when it’s up so we get those view numbers up! This was one of the best Watakon episodes yet and such a roller coaster of emotions, so proud of Miyo, but I do feel bad for Usui.

Kiyoka vs Usui didn’t look as good as some of the other fights in this series animation wise, but it was still just as good. Seeing someone as experienced and strong as Kiyoka frankly made to look silly was crazy. But it’s hard to beat someone if you don’t know what’s real. Perfect situation for Miyo to come in with her dream sight ability and wow it looked great!

OMG OMG MIYO FULL POWER UNLEASHED IS SO BADASS SHE LOOKED SO PRETTY!! Kiyoka has saved her so many times so it’s nice seeing her come to the rescue this time. The absolute audacity of Naoshi to say he and Miyo are the same tho 😂 yea they both had shitty upbringings but only one used that as an excuse to go kill people and do all this bad shit. You can’t control the circumstances of your upbringing, you can choose what you do next.

Miyo slapping Naoshi was very fitting, that’s exactly what Sumi would do if she was there but sadly even that wasn’t enough to reach him. Pretty clear that Naoshi just didn’t believe he was deserving of forgiveness or Sumi’s grace anymore. Even when she shows up and literally says this isn’t what she want, he tries to say it has to be the only way forward. Just too far gone and couldn’t sit back and fathom that this whole time he was wrong. death was the only way out for him. I think there’s something really beautiful about his life ending as it metaphorically started, with Sumi grabbing his hand and running off 💔

Arata redeemed himself for me a bit by taking out Naoshi and saving Miyo and Kiyoka, the optimist in me wants to think this was all 4D chess on his part, but realistically he probably was just tempted by Naoshi’s promises. Great end to the arc, not ready for the finale next week!!

Sucks this anime got delayed a bit. Supposed to end today. Now last episode is Wednesday, April 9th?

I also finally just watched the OVA for this that came out last year following season 1’s finale 🤣 forgot all about that

19:40 damn, that future she saw still came true, but at least the blows weren’t to the head 😅

Piece of **** father Usui finally gone. Arata kept switching back and forth between good and bad, but he’s gone too it seems 🙏🏻

Hope for a nice happy ending again next episode for the season finale 🙌🏻

Worth the wait although ideally, the delay should not have happened.

I'll really have to reread that section because I don't remember Sumi in that scene.

I also wished they kept the element of surprise where Arata shot him without us knowing in advanced.

ETA: Re-read the passages in the LN. The anime added Sumi's apparition in the scene. There was no happy death for Usui. I don't even remember the Episode 10 bit where his parents were murdered. Correct me if that was in the light novels but I forgot it.

Whereas in the anime, Usui forced himself out of the dream world, in the light novels, it was Arata's act of shooting Usui that led them out of the dream world.

Not mentioned in the anime is that Miyo's control of the dream world would have been more powerful if she was touching Usui.

All I will say is once again someone has not learned the lessons of Return of the Jedi. Attack the offspring , and it does not matter whether the offspring's parent is your minion or friend or relative, they will go all out on you and deal with you. Harshly.

Though bad guy gets to become a kami from scratch again.

Miyo impressed me in this episode. She was resolute in what she believed was the right thing to do and she even went as far as to give Naoshi a hard slap in his face.

Sadly, Naoshi was beyond saving at this point. Even the appearance of Sumi wan't enough to stop Naoshi going full on berserk. For once, Arata did something useful and shot at Naoshi, which led to a tense final stand as they both hit each other, Arata with another bullet to Naoshi, while Naoshi threw his knife at full force towards Arata's stomach. Naoshi is no more, which is honestly a very good thing.

The only question now is whether Arata will survive. I think the chances of him living is rather high, which I hope so, as his constant wishy washy traitor tactics means he's going to pay the consequences for it. We shall see if that happens or not in the last episode.

If Usui win then Miyo will get to be the prime minister of Japan and eventually the leader of the new world, this route is quite good too. Too bad it's not gonna be realized anymore.

Miyo just want to work quietly in Kiyoka's kitchen. Should I respect her wish? or should I say that she should be a role model for women and taking a big position? "With great power comes great responsibility" should be applied to female too, don't you think?

After the delay, I expected this final episode to be excellent, but honestly, I didn't enjoy it, it seemed too rushed.

I will never understand why characters are made "useless" just to create unnecessary drama. Miyo had the strength to stand up to Usui, but she seemed too weakened compared to the previous episode. She's supposed to have overwhelming power and with all her development she had the character to stand up to whoever hurt her beloved, so don't make her useless. I thought Miyo would stop Usui with her powers or even convincing him, but instead, a single shot from Arata was enough (apparently, in this anime, guns are better than powers).

That said, I'm glad the pair can finally be at peace and together again. I'm not sure how much of this was adapted from the light novel, but I really hope they confirm another season soon.

Edit: I just found out there are 13 episodes, I just acted like an idiot 😂😫

One week delay then Netflix didn't upload the episode, smh.

How excellent the last episode probably the best in the entire series this was fine but not upto same level.

Still till end I sympathize with Usui. As an antagonist he served well but I think his demise should have been handled better. For such a well written charcter the end wasn't as good as I expected.
The way he man handled Kiyoka shows how strong he was. The illusions and controlling his senses to beat him was great showcase of his power. If not for Miyo who got full powered at right time it would have been over. Sucking everyone into her dream realm where even Usui is useless. She is getting stronger each time and I love it.

She tried to convey her mother's feeling best she could but still couldn't convince him. Well atleast saved Arata, the same sequence did happen but this time it wasn't fatal ig. Dk how Sumi appeared but her carrying Usui in his last breath was kinda sweet. So somewhat bittersweet end for Usui atleast he is with his loved one.

it is really frustrating for me that Miyo is there doing nothing besides crying... for real... she has supposedly awakened her powers, but she stays aside while Kiyoka is almost being killed. And when she finally did something, she tries to talk to the bad guy to make him a good guy... 😮‍💨

@patkarunungan from what you said LN seems more consistent. Sumi magically appearing is kinda confusing.

There's no way to hide it now. This series is a novela. It even includes the slaps!

It took unusually long for this to show up, but it was worth the wait. Now, I have doubts about everything being solved in just one episode and leaving the last one open for anything to happen. But if it is to watch Miyo finally happy, wasn't that what we all wanted since the 1st season?

I expected Arata to do something in their defense, but I didn't expect it to be a final shot at the enemy. Bravo to Arata, who knows how it would have turned out differently, whether the two of them would have been able to defeat him. And the question is whether Arata did it only for Miyo, when Usui started threatening her, because he promised to protect her even at the cost of his life, or maybe he had such a plan from the beginning, to betray Usui at the right moment. I'm curious about his explanation in the next episode.

Miyo's powers are still a mystery to me. They have only been activated since 2 episodes. We know that she can create dream illusions on enemies, so I'm surprised that she didn't use them right away to help Kiyoka when he couldn't handle it. But I'm very curious about the potential of her powers and what they can be used for since she is the only one with dream vision, I mean for a good purpose. I hope that season 3 will show us this, the creator definitely has room to show here. Because I don't believe that in the last episode they will be able to show all of this, especially since her powers were awakening gradually, and we waited 23 episodes for them to awaken. That's why I expect something big when it comes to the presentation of these powers in the future.

Best episode, if not one of the best! The showdown with Usui finally started and also came to an end. Usui is already like Aizen, but the guy is also an Uchiha, lol—he fights only with genjutsu. Kiyoka did well in the fight, but he was overwhelmed, and if Miyo hadn’t stepped in, he would’ve died. Miyo used her power in an incredible way, and I thought her "Talk no Jutsu" would work, but nope—the one who actually helped was Sumi. Arata also came through, but both he and Usui pulled off their ultimates at the same time. Now, we just have to wait for a happy ending in the final episode!

Okay. Why on earth was Kiyoka the one to face simp Naoshi when Miyo is the one with the OP ability to counter his??? Like damn it, Kiyoka! Let your girl do something for once...
And what was the point of Arata threatening Miyo with a gun again? Did she forget they needed her alive? Smh...

Seriously, man. This episode was awful. All that determination Miyo showed in the previous episode was practically gone and despite arguably having the most OP ability in the show, she still ended up being relatively useless. In the end, her freaking deceased mom had to show up like a floating deus ex machina to save the situation and semi stop Naoshi.
And after everything, they still gave Naoshi a sort of happy death with Sumi coming for him? Nah, man. That's bullshit.

With Miyo having her Dream-Sight ability awakened, Usui will pull no punches to get his ideal world, by hook or by crook.

The destined fight between manipulator and fiancé, and Usui pursuing both physical and mental fronts against Kiyoka is exactly the kind of villain who uses illusions to displace his foes. Miyo being helpless on the side that's forced by Arata's hand, even with Kiyoka's supernatural abilities not working against Usui, it's clear that only she can help him with her abilities to change the future she saw, following her mother's dream.

All 4 people being enthroned in Miyo's dream, despite the persistence of Usui, Miyo gravely still wants his happiness just as her mother did back then, and if that face slap of hers doesn't awaken him, there's no chance of reprisal for Usui, ever. Even with the appearance of Sumi having to talk sense to Usui, her relieving him of his duties and interfering with the dream, the inevitable dream future still has to happen, though thankfully out of their heads and into their bodies instead.

It's finally over, with the collapse of the Gifted Communion, and the cherry blossom still blooms ever so slightly.

Like she could have helped Kiyoka remove some of the fake visions or sensories imposed on him or she could have used her dream sight abilities on Usui.... they just stood there and watched Kiyoka get hurt?!?

rip for Kiyo's suffering, picturing Miyo dying because screwing with senses is op. But hey, Miyo got some time to be useful with her ability and that was a nice thing. Using mind powers on mind powers to stop the bad guy in his tracks.

But at the same time.. idk I was a little underwhelmed by this. Like yeah there was a bit of action, but the mind things deflated that a bit. And then it ended with that shot. Still like my Kekkon, but idk.

Looks like the main situation resolved itself this episode though. They can now spend an episode winding down and maybe doing couple things.
