Character rivalries are still on this season!

The dimension or whatever place Akira got sent to was a bit bizarre. I konw this anime isn't known yet for mysteries but that got me very curious. Wizards in this show really do have a reputation.

Murr and Shylock have so much sexual tension lmao

The real great calamity is all the wizards fighting with each other damn how these mfs gonna save the world when they can’t even talk to each other because of the politics and rivalries

This episode felt more like as if I was watching "boys love". I feel bad for Chole, he's a good dude but the reality remains that wizards are viewed as bad/wicked/evil.

I wonder Mithra might be plotting, to destroy the world!?

Man, this bunch is hopeless. They are too divided to do ANYTHING. And the humans seem pretty useless as well. I guess my masochism as kicked in, as I am still here for some reason.

They did speed through all the scenes at top speed (they condensed two entire chapters this time??) but a lot of things I was really, really looking forward to animated was done justice, so I have no complaints aside from the impossible 24-ep season dream and better pacing which was always Not gonna happen anyway so -
First up, I keep yelling that this is absolutely Not a reverse harem or otome game but thanks shard!Murr for blurring the lines kajfhldkajfh he was so lovely and charming and deserving of the massive amount of screentime!! The ending leaves a little to be desired, but I LOVED shard Murr’s catlike Murr impression and the frame with Shylock’s pipe on his shoulder?? Incredible, showstopping, amazing…

Ok, the moment with Cain visibly Not being able to see Nicholas was such a nice touch, it was only when I went back to watch previous eps that I realized the animation team took care in keeping his gaze away from the person until he can see them, and it was more evident here so I’m thrilled! And the fact that he could instantly spot Owen (because Owen is the only person he can see, after all), and immediately protected Nicholas was so, so good I loved that scene and they delivered!!!

Owen laugh…cute….Asanuma you are too powerful…

I screamed when I saw Mithra at the market eating an apple he’s gonna eat it core and stem and seeds and all isn’t he… and ofc, cutting Rutile off before he could say Tiretta…he’s also Not looking at Rutile just like Cain but in a very different way hahaha

The fact that every time they do a card cg there are sparkles and extra shading never fails to send me and BRADLEY’S EXPRESSIONS he didn’t look threatening at all when he threatened that kid jkahflajds and then getting dragged away by the scruff by Lennox I’m replaying that scene and cackling to myself like a fool hahaha. A LOT of Dr. Figaro scenes were not done justice but this one!!! Was the ultimate test (from, to, and for me) and they have passed <3 Thank you Dr. Figaro, thank you twins

Mithra. and the kid hiding the “treasure”. I replayed that scene many times for reasons hehehe

The scene at the Lunar Eclipse Palace could easily be an entire ep and the scene transitions were so choppy but the important stuff was retrieved I suppose! The piece of magical technology, and Drummond’s gratitude and admiration, may they pave the way to the trust between wizards and humans – (but then!!! It happened.)
I LOVE THE WAY THEY ANIMATED OWEN ON THE BALCONY maybe I am a little biased but his expression!!! Was so good!!!

And the way they zoomed in to the sheep when Leno-san was like, I’m just a shepard….the sheep should’ve made a “baaa” noise I think that would’ve improved my experience tenfold.

The long-awaited Chloe and Rustica scene they did SUCH a good job I think, the pain in Chloe’s voice, his tears, Rustica’s expression, his (sparkly) card, I cried when I read the translation I cried at that scene in the stage play and I teared up slightly here they did fantastic!!! Thank you mahoani

And then my favourite scene in this episode is when Oz was floating outside the castle “he’s grown taller” I LITERALLY SOBBED Oz smile is so…!!!!! The part with Arthur protecting Vincent from behind Oz was kinda funky looking but I am obsessed!!! Because Oz is protecting Arthur in turn right??? The effects may have been super lacking but I will redraw that scene with my entire soul aaaaaaAAAAA

And Owen!!! I complain about too many close-ups sometimes but I love Owen close-ups….his expressions tell (me) so much I’m just sitting here yelling into my hands because I changed my mind I think the animation team IS conveying exactly what I’m hoping for and no amount of speeding through scenes will upset me anymore as long as they cover everything I want!!! Which this ep delivered thank you

Do we really have to listen to xenophobic racist humans prattle on about their inferiority complex?

@ajw215799 It's that kind of one-note show.

Akira meeting with Murr (or rather, a fragmentation of his soul), which he's the rather free-spirited Western wizard, and learning that the Great Calamity can be summoned, that's certainly bounds for trouble. Together with Shylock and the others, they're all that amicable, though Murr and Shylock can best be described as a BL couple (add in both Chloe and Rustica) at that. But true talk, with the different Country wizards not getting along, it feels as if that the calamity for now, is truly them trying to understand one another.

The investigation onto the graverobber incident sparked an item hat Akira and the Western wizards found that belonged to Nicholas's division, at the same time where the Northern wizards are also wreaking havoc around the mansion, it's just not looking good if this keeps up and Arthur having to reprieve the abadoning of all Wizards.

Akira showing weakness to Owen is quite the surprise given the post effects, though how will this help stop the calamity coming?
