I really wonder if that's the stand in name or if it's the official name, but we'll see next week!!
| @Camoboi1 Same. We should find out soon whether it's really the official name, or just a placeholder. Animators in the studio, as was mentioned in another thread, used to refer to that Goku's design as Super Saiyan 4, though it could just be for convenience. Or maybe not, heh. I hope we will really learn more about this form in the last episode. Heck, at least its official name could do the work (even though partially). |
| I think it's officially SSJ4 because Goku went out of his way to transform into every one of his forms (This was the way of how the team told us that it's officially the fourth super Saiyan form). And the toy line must have consulted with Toei animation staff beforehand aswell. |

| we already knew it was called officially SSJ4 since long ago, geekdom even had the toei drafts from september or october which called it super saiyan 4, the official website also calls it that, and the merchandise, it might not be called by name in the episode but then again broly's legendary super saiyan was not called by name either |
