Honey Lemon Soda Episode 7 Discussion

People seem to get weirded it out by this fact, but I am happily-amazed by aesthetics, background, and character design of this anime. It’s like Kimi ni Todoke: Inner-City Edition. I like the feel of this anime.

Also, it is always refreshing to see a love triangle where the two lover-rivals aren’t at each other’s throats, and actually are on good terms. Gives a little more difficulty on who to cheer for (I think My Romantic Comedy SNAFU comes to mind).

For an anime I was never sure I wanted to watch from the pv, I really have been enjoying it.

@Ron014 Im gonna be honest I don't often read what people say in these episode reviews unless its a show I love or I get replied to so idk what people are saying about this show.

If there are people portraying him as a creep then let them have that view I couldnt care less. I simply meant in my original post that I think Kai is simply someone who keeps to himself and is more reserved as such it tends to be in life that people like that can be drawn to eachother.

@Phantom_Siren652 Ok then let me be honest too, and i'm not attacking you. this is not episode reviews, it's an episode discussion, same like comments below the video on others sites. If you often don't read comments of what people say here, why you come to drop your own comment and expecting others to read yours?

@Ron014 These are episode discussions sure but a lot of people use these as just ways to simply review episodes mentioning what they like or dislike about a show or bringing up certain parts of the episode.

When I do leave a comment I don't leave my comment expecting people to read it but if they do I'll happily reply if I want to.

and again I only tend to actually go through and read these episode discussions if its of a show I absolutely adore.

As for the reason I leave these in the first place its literally just a way to air out my thoughts most of the time. Like for this show I tend to leave fairly small comments but for something I love I'd leave a much larger review.




and I avoid most negative stuff when I see it. Hell I've been attacked on this website more than enough to where I try to just stay out of any negative stuff. Meaning I don't consider your comments to me attacking nor do I want to attack you. I just wanted to clarify what I meant about Kai that I don't think he's weird in fact I quite like his character a lot.



And if anyone's attacking you because of a opinion just Ignore them some people can be so stupid


(Edit: I also at the end of every seasonal show tend to leave my final thoughts and score of the show so that's another reason I tend to leave these posts)

@Phantom_Siren652 That's not true, people can always rate, but it doesn't matter because under every episode, everywhere you can always rate the episode, but there's still a comment section to talk about the episode, not just drop "Wow nice episode" "this was cool cya next week" comments. People actually talk there, that's the all point of a comment section.

Also i don't see any point, that if you ain't willing to read other people's comments, yet you drop your own one, you're not doing it to send a message to nobody right?, you want someone to read it? the anime producers are not gonna read it, other viewers will, so you want them to engage with you, you can bother to read other comments too. i'm sorry that you been attacked, but so did i and so are many more others, you just learn to deal with it and what to do the next time you face it, you gonna have toxic people everywhere. if you want to DM about it feel free, cuz i don't want to spam here anymore, it has nothing to do with Lemon Soda. have a nice day tho

Did I miss something? I don't get why Serena would be bullied for butting in. Sure just by those two girls maybe but everyone else? What did they do? Spread gossip about her?

Damn I feel for both Serina-chan and Uka-chan.


I think Kai went from a do anything for a girl kind of person to how he acts toward Uka wanting to help her but not wanting a repeat of what happened with Serina where she becomes too dependent on him. I'm guessing he still acts how he does toward Serina because he feels she is still his responsibility.

she's definitely an awesome friend. I can't bring myself to be mad at Uka because clearly she's got issues, but I am disappointed constantly with her absolutely ridiculous take on life. you don't exist for the sake of others, live your damn life!!!

@traed I think you most likely right, since he start he helped Uka, but he kept forcing her to say the words "help" by her self, also with the latest school festival he told her from the start if she's ready to face all the responsibility. He still butts in sometimes, and acts more cold with his responses probably again like you said he doesn't want her to be too dependent on him. but i still think his hair change symbolizes a change that he went through after the breakup as well. And yes your last sentence, i can only speak for my self, but i still care about my ex despite everything, it's a girl i went to sleep and listened to her breathing night after night, can't bring myself to hate her.

Those two girls bullied her to assert dominance, protecting their image. The others didn't bully her, they shunned her(not sure if it's the right word), due to fear, they knew that if they associate with her the target might be shifted on them and it'll ruin their life so they avoided her and then yeah some start gossip so some who don't even know the situation accept the gossip as truth and use that as a reason to hate them (speaking from experience, i'm an israeli, lots people hate me now from all over the world due to made up lies).
