Uchimura using his brains and strategic planning so much, it's scary. He calculated everything beforehand.

Still don't like the Rampage King but Uchimura managed to convince him in the most amusing way possible. It was a risk since Uchimura had doubts himself lol. Well played though.

I'm glad everyone survive. In fact, I'd go as far as saying that even if that pig steal for his own gain he'd still doesn't deserve death penalty. I'm pacifist, and so is Uchimura.

I just notice that not only Rampage King but his guards are hot as well.

What a weird episode

how do you go from this cunning merchant from to make money any means necessary to saving homeless children and a good guy at heart?

Of course Uchimura all the sudden from someone whos usually helpless to do anything against anything to use some sort of magic to defend the King's threat.

Man, I have mixed emotions about this episode. I loved the old Orc merchant getting outsmarted like that, & at first I was hoping he would be Croc chow ( that thing was huge btw!) but than we find the thieves are his Foster family. So he isn't all bad. I still wouldn't trust him. In fact, he reminds me of a certain character in Oliver Twist. LOL But he can get/move valuable resources and that makes him useful.

I gagged at this shit. Terrible episode. It was like a 5 year old telling you a story, jumping back and forth on the narrative, making shit up out of nowhere. The fact that the stones were stolen was evident. The fact the pig was all of the sudden a good guy made zero sense. No foreshadowing, corny ass plot twist with no logic other than "let's all be friends" bs. So far it had been mildly entertaining, but this really fucked it up bad. Opinion of this show: gravely decreased.

A very interesting episode where the villain is not as evil as we first thought.
Also, Ulmandra got her hopes up for no reason once again haha.

Ngl this episode felt pretty stupid and nonsensical. I don’t mind the trade deal with the rampage king, that’s the whole point of Uchimura going to the kingdom. But the orc merchant somehow being a good guy and a foster parent and doing all this dastardly shit to provide for his family.. just feels like it came out of nowhere and makes no sense. Nothing about him made him feel redeemable or like a secretly nice guy. Oh well. Another W for Uchimura, albeit one I don’t care for much.

Poor Ulmandra keeps getting led on. I feel bad for her at this point lmao. Really thought she was gonna become a woman that night 😂

@IhnalakoKaina I don't get this rug pull tactic. This show has been smarter then this so far. But this guy showed very few if any redeemable quality's. The show even went on a whole tangent about him doing just wrong.

Aaaaand title turned absolute garbage. After Pig merchant tricked King and MC I thought he at minimum will be turned into slave. But no. They had to turn him into bestest friend forever. flowers, sunshine and stuff... Ugh ... To quote a "classic" ... "Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!"

0/10 total disappointment

Wow, that's brilliant writing. Within a span of minutes I went from nearly wanting the pig merchant dead to being glad Uchimura saved him. Normally I'm not willing to forgive characters for evildoing easily, but they made it clear that this guy has done a lot of good in the world and that he's just made a (major) mistake here. Well done

Buttalian is a POS and deserves to die, and it was predictable that Uchimura would try to talk the king for mercy. To be fair, this seems to be not a dark show for that.

Orc's character makes zero sense and his actions are actually super messed up. The rosemarin was used to protect the people, his actions purposely put the people of those villages in risk.

Now the orc gladly did that but also donated to disaster stricken places?????? Make it make sense.

Orc put multiple villages in danger, stole from the govt and almost collapsed the country's economy and by the end of the episode he gets rewarded.

@IhnalakoKaina My thoughts exactly. But on the other hand, the positive aspect out of this is that the show will not dwell too long on this pig arc.

I'll keep watching this show to see if the remaining episodes redeem it somewhat.

There has to be something better to animate than this.

The way Uchimura talks his way out by making the king laugh... Not really the same energy as "how can I sell a used gun" from Lord of War.

Gotta wonder why this merchant has to steal product if he has a monopoly on orange powder.

So Butagalian didn't make an inferior copycat, he just dug up and stole the ones the villages had already implemented! Well I guess that's one way of getting a product for cheap.

He's one lucky merchant to have Dennosuke there to pacify the Rampage King and prevent him from being crocodile food.

Uchimura recurring back to the bar for some inspiration, and soon finds out that the Rosemarin the Demon Army distributed, became a huge problem when trying to inspect a village that already has all of it removed. And just as suspected, the other party led by the Great Merchant Butagalian, being able to acquire and sell items at a fast rate, and like a prophet, does his trade by hook or by crook, which has his label being the Merchant of Death.

This becomes clear when Uchimura gets Sylphid to replicate a fake Rosemarin, and then round up the villages which were facing these thefts to plant his "bomb", which were perfect fakes to prove his act. But while going against the Rampage King is a cardinal sin, and Uchimura leveraging pardon for Butagalian because he's the only one who can still develop relations with other countries, that kind of laughs the matter off for the Rampage King, but allows Butagalian to go scot free with his troubles, alongside the foster children which he adopted and worked so hard to give them a good life.

Ulmandra just keeps getting Ls when it comes to her prospect of romance with Uchimura...

Kind of a mixed bag with this mini arc, some things which made sense and not.
