I could be wrong but I think JoyBoy/Nika ended the first war during the Void Century and the second war began with the great flood caused by the weapons at the end of the VC and that war can't end until Nika helps again

We know of only on war happend in the past, which is the one happend in the void century between the Great Kingdom and the alliance of 20 family across the world.
We know that Nika and Joyboy aren't the same person and Joyboy and Luffy ate the Devil Fruit that grants them the abilities of Nika.
I think it's safe to assume there was another war happend before the Void Century. A war where the original Nika fought.
The things to understand are others to me. Did the Lunarians were already there during the first war? Did the ancient giants were the enemy during that war?
From what I read I made up my mind, Lunarians created the Red Line which divide the world into two pieces, the side of the New World was inhabited by the Ancient Giants, the other side by the other races, to prevent Ancient Giants, too powerful compared to the other races, to destroy their civilizations.

There are two school of thoughts in my mind.

1. The first mural was of the first world obviously and Nika was conceived or emerged in this world but he had too little power to fight Imu. The second mural describes the Void century war in which Joyboy ate the fruit of Nika and by bringing back Nika's spirit, Joyboy fought against Imu again (In the form of Nika) and lost.

2. Excluding the first mural, The second mural could also be a foreshadowing of the events to come, What makes me think of this is because there's a giant with horns here which makes me believe that it's Loki who will side with Luffy (Atleast that's what I think so far).

But the giant with horns could also be an ancestor of the King Harald or one of the ancient giants who fought in the Void century war.

This blew my mind, Oda is a genius at giving us snippets but never revealing the full picture that easily.

Kind of crazy to think that this exact timeline has been repeating itself for three times in a row. Just how strong is Imu and what is he even. How will Luffy and the others even fight such a Celestial being?! Marineford does look like a side quest compared to the final war that's about to come yeah haha.

@Irshiki I think the first mural depicts what was before Joyboy, this was when Nika first appeared, when the slaves prayed for him. This could've happened hundreds of years before Joyboy for all we know.

The first world is likely what happened before Joyboy

That's what I said, Nika and Joyboy aren't the same person, but that's something which you could understand even before these chapters.
