What do you think of the series?

I picked up this series for the cover drawing of the book and the title "my mom". From the scary picture of a mother drawn by a child, I expected the story might be about endless dark domestic violence. But, fortunately, it's not. It's a story about a girl who was abused by her mother and a space alien who took over the mother's body. The art style belongs to that of ladies' comics with horror tinge. The skill is average. The cover design above doesn't represent the art inside. But the decision to use the image deserves praise. It seems the series was axed at chapter 10 because of poor sales.
