@JaysonNnN That's exactly what they'll do. Winter Arc is only 3 chapters long. The other 3 "Season Arcs" are much longer in comparison.

EDIT: My bad, you are right, it says "original".

This confuses me, but we just gotta wait to see if the whole special is a filler, or if we get the winter arc and a little bit extra. It’s not like the winter arc is long or anything, just a few chapters, it’s not really an arc lol. It’d be weird if the promo picture is a part from the winter arc but they don’t adapt in this.

I’m calling cap on this… There’s no way they’ve promoted this special as the continuation of the anime (the promotional art is very much a spoiler for the next arc.) just to then turn around and say it’s an original brand new special. There has to be an error somewhere.

I’m seeing lots of conflicting information out there about whether this is actually wholly original, or if it’s new content to pad out the length of the fairly short Winter arc. Gonna have to wait and see, I guess

I really hope it’s just expanded content for something that wasn’t very explored in the manga (like what the Bleach staff is doing with the TYBW anime)
Because if they pull up a Promised Neverland season 2 with this anime, man… I’d be so pissed off. Season 1 was pretty much perfect, so why ruin the adaptation?

I'm pretty sure they're doing something like what Pierrot did with TYBW. There was stuff that Tozuka couldn't add to the original Winter so David pro are probably going to bring those ideas to life with this special. Sick! Wicked sick!

It clearly states "late 2025"/"winter 2026". Look on Livechart for clarification.

Thus my point still stands.

Expect it no later than the 3rd week of the summer season.

So no, its not "anyones guess" as if it were to release winter 2025 then it would have by now.

Thus its clear Livechart has the correct info.

I pretty clearly mentioned both Mal and this tweet the entire thread is based on noting winter 2025 as the date still, which is more than 1 site as a source.

@Superjarne123 Yes yet things usually get announced for airing before the season starts.

I mean just look at some seasons of MHA and DS. Some aired late yet were always announced before that airing season.

They still have to follow Japanese TV schedules after all.
