| It seems clear now, even if it wasn't admitted explicitly, that Saya is Katana's older sister, or most likely, at least. This makes me wonder who Kodachi is, but considering Kodachi was literally capable of understanding the wolf from previous chapters, I'm driven to believe she is actually the personification of Katana's pet, although the reason why she isn't capable of doing anything without a mask is confusing. Also, I love how ominous Wonderful Mask looks in the background all the time, it's almost macabre in a way, but funnily so. |

| Seeing how author is suggesting that Saya isn't Katana's mother I'm glad series isn't ending "right now" but still have plans to continue it... but in the same time I wonder if this is just misdirection because fans realized that Saya is Katana's mother too soon lol ImNotAnOtaku1 said: I'm driven to believe she is actually the personification of Katana's pet, although the reason why she isn't capable of doing anything without a mask is confusing. I dunno how law works in japan in this case but in my country dogs are (technically) required to wear muzzles when walking outside, which could explain the mask... but I don't remember manga even suggested that Katana had a pet. So I think it could be something "simpler" like Kodachi could be anime character. We never saw her inner monologue so it's hard to assume if she even is from real world, Katana wasn't able to influence Saya and Mitsuba mind/memories. |
