| Badeni can't be that dumb. I suppose he's purposefully shifting attention towards the daughter. Like, "if we're heretics, did you know your daughter is the biggest heretic among us?" or something. Let's see if that's the case and if Nowak got the message and came back to threaten. |
| It's a small detail, but I'm really liking the way the multiple meanings of the word "chi" are being utilized throughout the narrative. For example, last episode was about knowledge (知) and this episode is about blood (血), which can both be read as "chi". |

| Nowak returning to teach new Inquisitors how to handle the cases of heretics, and it's been a while since Rafal's incident where the underground gritty torture is shown. Nowak clearly being the jerk here, brainwashed by the Church to torture their victims as heinous as they can to dispose anything against the Catholic faith, and he will never relent until he gets what he wants out of people who even has the smallest affiliation towards being heretic. The guy himself personally wanted by the Bishop, as much as Oczy, Badeni and Jolenta had their reunion to celebrate the finality of the heliocentric theory, and move on to bigger ventures ahead, where their research is free to be released without reprisal. Badeni wanting to attend university is a surprise, as much is Jolenta staying alongside her father Kolbe to one day release a treatise of her very own. The terror only finally realized when Nowak appeared to be Jolenta's father, which Oczy only knows all too well, and tries to hide their true workings as much as possible, if not for Badeni running his mouth with compliments from the father himself. Oczy's confirmation of Nowak only confirms the worst fears, and Badeni will be in for one of the most shocking things in his life. |

| This is by far the best episode. Truly a full of terror happening when my man Tsuda can't stop his signature suspense line like that, and those jumpscare of him in the end. Oh boy even if i dislike Badein for general, at least let the man and his eye dude Oczy saved their complete heliocentrism.... |

| I thought Badeni was being really careful about keeping his research a secret. Maybe it was Oczy who made a mistake and let someone read his diary. Either way, our boys are screwed now unless a miracle happens. |
| Not gonna lie, tension in this episode was raw as fuck. That's the kind of emotions you don't expect from a show this grounded in reality to have such nerve wracking moments, I thought the silent build-ups were too much at first but in the end they were totally justified. |
| Oczy wanting to go to a unitersity is no surprise and Badeni celibrates the completion of heliocentric theory with Oczy and Jolenta was good thing, as I'm sure he'll be dead soon. It makes my sad somehow, even after I'm trying not to get attached with any character. So Jolenta father really was Nowak. Lets see if Jolenta will also get her faith sealed just like Nowak's other victims in the future. |
