The elements that I specifically seek: - dark side of human nature / what people can do when they're driven to a corner - mostly episodic (a lot of individual stories) - supernatural aspect is a plus Some Asian shows that I've already seen/heard of that somewhat match these criteria: 1. Nightmare teacher 2. Girl from nowhere 3. Sky High (*very* high similarity) |

It’s not episodic and not really supernatural, but if you like J-dramas, I HIGHLY recommend Kaseifu no Mita. It absolutely marks #1 and I feel like the respective main characters have similar personalities.
