So I was surprised to even see this was available there, but just watched a couple weeks ago, and meant to go check out the OVAs/Manga after.

I'm based in the U.K. so thought I'd mention that as idunno if their library is same internationally and if it's also available elsewhere.

It's definitely worth the watch anyway! Really enjoyed watching it! Some of the effects, the hyper violence and the english over-dub made it a hilarious watch for me & got me interested in the source material too!

I honestly am morbidly curious to see the live action film just to see how it holds up to not only the two OVAs, but also the manga (which I have read in full). But either way, I'll proooobably stick to checking it out in its original Cantonese 😅

I'm USA based so it looks like I'll have to look elsewhere (or else see if using a VPN works lol)

I would definitely recommend the manga though. It's hyper violent in much the same way you'd expect from Fist of the North Star or Violence Jack or Hellsing or Baki, but don't let that deter you... it's a fun ride featuring some great fights as well as some incredibly wacky twists involving Nazis and time travel.

The OVAs are decent, they adapt the first two story arcs but slightly abridged and thus leave out a few subplots and characters. The manga is better (as usually tends to be the case), but they're still worth the watch in a supplemental way.

@Vegetto95 I actually just finished the OVAs myself thanks to recently watching the live action! Defo made me wanna check out the rest of the Riki Oh stuff! Gonna check out the manga at some point!

It's possible that it's also on US Prime video, I just don't personally have a way of checking, have a look maybe it's also on there! Or yeah if not maybe a vpn would work with prime video!

The English dub is hilarious! lol.
