| The movie, tv series, and manga are all different adaptations of the same nugget of an idea. The tv series is the mostly regarded as the best version of this property. You could watch the movie first, it’s a cut down different take of the story. Ultimately, If I had watched the movie before or after watching the show first I would have still preferred the tv series. If you do watch the movie first and don’t like it, don’t let it sour you on trying the the tv show. Watching the movie first may also spoil some things in the show.
