I was super confused when I watched the first episode and the song started playing. You can barely hear what's going on with the vocals and the guitar, and it even took me until the chorus to realize it was Hige Dandism.

I've been listening to the song on Spotify non-stop for the past two weeks, and the mix is really good both on music streaming services and on the upload of the OP on youtube, so I'm just baffled by why the mix is so terrible on Netflix??

First of all, why would they mix the song differently for the use in the series specifically? I can not recall ever having seen this happen before, other than a few edge cases where the recording for the show is different from the officially released song, but even then the mix is mostly similar.

And secondly, why would they mix it so badly??

I'm so confused, please send help

Netflix has 5.1 surround sound on by default I think, so maybe something in your audio settings isn’t right? It sounds pretty close to the Apple Music version to me, just quiet. Maybe try on a different device and see where the issue is coming from

@SPARKisnumber1 There isn't any issues with any of the other shows I watch on Netflix tho, and the dialogue in the show sounds just fine. It doesn't look like the Netflix app allows me to fidget with any audio settings either.. Thanks for the suggestions tho

But it's weird that it doesn't seem like you have the same issue. I thought for sure this was a production choice, as I've never experienced this specific issue before. Didn't mean for it to become a tech support thread haha

Yeah it sounds perfectly fine for me using headphones or iPad speakers. Must be something on your end. Have you tried different audio outputs or watching on different devices? Very strange.

Not sure of what's going on with your Netlfix/hardware, but the song is great on the website I'm watching it on. In fact, I never skip the OP because it's so great. I'm sure you already did it, but I will still go ahead and recommend giving it a proper listen on YouTube/Spotify

@-TrashTaste- yeah the song itself is a banger, Hige Dandism always deliver on the OPs, no matter what show they write for

I watch it on Netflix and for me it's the same as on other sites. The sound is still noticeable to me
