| I knew the candle cave rakugo story was foreshadowing of this but I wasn't expecting to see that foreshadowing come to fruition to soon I mean assuming he's dead. He might end up in the hospital but this manga is kind of like a samurai epic so death isn't something we can rule out atm |
| No way they did something so outrageous out of absolutely nowhere... The timing was too convenient as well, I mean just after the Shiguma's art was passed down to Akane. I wish we don't go the worst case scenario:( |

| It seems that Shiguma won't last long, which is typical for shounen manga, where the protagonist's master dies, who was a mentor and/or a father figure for them, and it fuels their determination. Akane might "fill the framework in" by herself without her master. |
