| I do like some isekai and I do like dark. I'm considering watching this but I have issues. I'm extremely put off by most of the female character designs I've seen. You've got cool, army males then trashy isekai trash pastel female designs that are better off in some 2 out of 10 romance anime. Would I be able to ignore their terrible designs in turn for a great plot and at least decent characters? (I also dislike whiney princess damsel type females or bikini armour type situations.) Edit: Never mind been reading reviews and apparently it's fanservice harem with war propaganda. Not a combination I would want to waste my time with. |

| It literally is a real life meets adventure magic world, so yeah there are going to be multiple styles. But you are definitely missing out, this is one of the first anime I watched and it is one of my favorites. |
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.  |
| I mean S1 was alright when you turn your brain off but I kinda forced myself to finish S2 As for fanservice I'd say there is very little. Overall the premise was cool but it quickly went into isekai & a shy protag (10000 anime of it's kind) If you are looking for something with similar premise but better execution try The Eminence In Shadow |

| @Haydorwaldor I know lol I do like to watch bad anime once in a while and it looked like it had potential despite the character designs. But After I posted this I looked more into it and only then realised maybe I really won't like it at all. But I committed and was hoping that maybe just maybe my initial impressions were off base due to it's score. If I have nothing else to watch I may and I stress may watch the first episode. If not I will try the Eminence suggestion |
