Help me get closure on GIFT: Eternal Rainbow ending

*Spoiler Alert* in case the title didn't say it all..

At the end, he says, "We'll always be together, right?" She says, "Yeah" then it ends...

In the epilogue after the credits Kirino wakes him up from his sleep. He says "Who are you!?"

Kirino says "We're finally alone."

He says, "I'll have to ask now. Kirino, will you go to the hotsprings with me?" She smiles. It says END in huge letters.

My mind went totally blank. I was like 'what exactly just happened'? Always be together my @$$. She obviously left the house and they gave no explanation as to why. "finally alone" means she left them alone. Wth happened?? Someone please explain.

I saw that Coda and it confused me too. Keep watching after the credits on episode 12. I think they are just messing with us!
