Season 4 rumor (Update: officially confirmed to be true)

There has been a rumor recently stating that 2nd year arc (season 2) is getting an anime adaptation. I know it is not official, but there has been posts around stating that there was documents leaked out from Kadokawa. I saw the posts while searching through Twitter to check news everyday. If it is a hard time finding the posts, we can just search Classroom of the elite or Classroom of the elite season 4. I know it is not official or true (at least yet), but there might be possible chance from this.

(Update: the rumor might be false because the source was given to me stating that the twitter user does not give reliable info)

(Update 8/30: never mind, rumor was true, 2nd year is getting an anime adaptation)

I know, but sometimes rumors do come from sources that looks true like the document statement that was made from the posts on sites and twitter.

Also, these kinds of rumors would lead to officials, but it is a maybe on this case.

@ani2016 I prefer not to get my hopes up because of a rumor. Yes, rumors can be true. There's a bigger risk that they are not.

Yeah, but I do hope that rumor is true though. If so, we will either see the official announcement in September (Kadokawa is hosting MF Bunko J summer fes) or maybe some other time.

it's just rumour, don't believe it until there's no official announcement. Example: Tokyo Ghoul remake, Noragami S3.

I know. I just heard this rumor was from document leaks that was stated, but you are right, we can not expect this rumor to be true until it is official.

@ani2016 I'm a fan of the LN. So seeing it animated is a huge plus to me. I would love to see a season 4 to come out.

even if s4 came it will take some time to release because 2y arc has so much source that adapting that much is a problem

Even though that rumor is now debunked, I would agree on that because of how popular this series is.

Question is, when are they going to announce it? Kadokawa did announce the first season during the first year arc, so I do not entirely expect when.
