damn i knew Re:Re sounded familiar but i couldnt put my finger on it
i love the eerie intro they put on that song, for a second i thought i was gonna listen to some post-rock song

the other song unfortunately wasn't as memorable, maybe it will grow on me over time

They’ve covered AKFG before, with the fourth ending theme.

The band/series itself is also at least loosely based on the band, as the last names of Kessoku Band’s members match the last names of AKFG’s members.

fuck me, i just looked it up and apparently the whole show is full of AKG references
even the episode names are AKG song titles

i guess you learn something new every day, even when it comes to one of your favorite anime

They did a cover on Re: Re: by Asian Kung-Foo Generation as well which is kinda cool but unexpected, although they did another cover by them as well, since I think the members of the band in the manga/anime were inspired by the members of Asian Kung-foo generation if what I heard in the past is true
